All eyes on Hazard and Alonso as Arnautovic misses London derby

The Fantasy Premier League community turns its attention to Eden Hazard (£10.9m) and Marcos Alonso (£6.9m) for Chelsea’s visit to West Ham this afternoon.

Only Ryan Fraser (£5.7m) earned more new owners ahead of Gameweek 6 than Hazard, signed by 600,000+ Fantasy managers following his hat-trick against Cardiff.

Meanwhile, left-back Alonso is this match’s most popular player, currently sitting in 44% of squads. Both he and Hazard have been named in the Chelsea starting XI at the London Stadium.

However, there is disappointment for the 14% invested in Marko Arnautovic (£7.0m). The West Ham forward has been left out of the matchday squad entirely after picking up an injury in Gameweek 5.

That may prove positive news for Alonso owners and other Fantasy managers bought into the Chelsea defence. Arnautovic scored the solitary goal the last time the Blues travelled to face West Ham, resulting in a 1-0 win for the Hammers.

Coming in for the Austrian is FPL midfielder Michail Antonio (£6.8m) who will lead the Hammers line this afternoon.

WEST HAM XI (4-3-3): Fabianski; Masuaku, Diop, Balbuena, Zabaleta; Rice, Obiang, Noble; Anderson, Antonio, Yarmolenko.

CHELSEA XI (4-3-3): Kepa; Alonso, Rüdiger, David Luiz, Azpilicueta; Kovacic, Kanté, Jorginho; Hazard, Giroud, Willian.

Can't win them all, switch from Aguero to Hazard captain doesn't look like paying off this week but at least none of the other obvious guys went crazy - Salah was safest choice.

Look back at the 'how are Hazard owners feeling?' Hulk. People thinking that he'll smash Salah and Aguero's values.

Always take the points in the bag.

Hazard will never ever change . He will exploded then do nothing. It's about getting on him at the right time

Very fortunate for owners that time was last week. Good timing and made sence vs Cardiff. Don't expect much from him now for a bit

        Ridiculous post.

Chelsea will be more attacking under Sarri - he is not a defensive coach like Mourinho or Conte, and Hazard will flourish. But he isn't going to score every game - the only kneejerky thing is your mentality.

This is a reply I made earlier to a strange comment re. a person wishing they had captained Hazard instead of Salah:

'Even if you could retrospectively, why would you change the captaincy to Hazard after 8 points from Salah? Last time I checked players dont score 8 points a match, especially not away from home. There is this strange believe that big players will inevitably score - it is what causes no much knee jerking. If it was Hazard at home to Cardiff I would get this, but not away to West Ham/

Hazard won't score every match but he will score brilliantly this season. I'm expecting a price busting 220-250 points baring injury.
