Harry Kane (£12.5m) and Kieran Trippier (£6.2m) were both named in the starting line-up for Spurs ahead of their appealing meeting with Cardiff.

Son Heung-min (£8.3m) is also set to start the match. All three players have received a boost in ownership this week with Cardiff expected to be put to the sword.

However, the biggest Fantasy Premier League talking point of the day was the fact that Richarlison (£6.7m) has been deployed as a centre-forward for Everton at Leicester.

The Brazilian has operated predominantly from the left-flank of attacking midfield this season but has been given licence to get further forward at the King Power Stadium today.

Ricardo Pereira (£5.1m) returns to defence for Leicester having been used in midfield last week, while key figures Jamie Vardy (£9.0m) and James Maddison (£6.9m) also start.

Ashley Barnes (£5.7m) and Sam Vokes (£5.3m) lead the line for Burnley against Huddersfield, while the Terriers have opted to ditch the five-at-the-back system and line-up in a 4-4-1-1 formation.

Wilfried Zaha (£7.0m) starts up front once again for Crystal Palace while Wolves name an unchanged side at Selhurst Park.

Francisco Kiko Femenia (£4.2m) comes in at right-back for Watford as the only change to the side that lost at Arsenal last week, while Ryan Fraser (£6.0m), Callum Wilson (£6.3m) and Josh King (£6.3m) all start for Bournemouth.

HUDDERSFIELD TOWN XI: Lossl, Durm, Zanka, Schindler, Lowe, Hogg, Mooy, Van La Parra, Billing, Pritchard, Depoitre

CRYSTAL PALACE XI: Hennessey, Van Aanholt, Tomkins, Sakho, Wan-Bissaka, Milivojevic, McArthur, Schlupp, Ayew, Townsend, Zaha

WOLVES XI: Patricio, Doherty, Boly, Coady, Bennett, Jonny, Neves, Moutinho, Costa, Jota, Jimenez

LEICESTER CITY XI: Schmeichel, Chilwell, Morgan, Maguire, Pereira, Amartey, Mendy, Ndidi, Maddison, Iheanacho, Vardy

EVERTON XI: Pickford, Digne, Kenny, Keane, Zouma, Gueye, Davies, Walcott, Sigurdsson, Bernard, Richarlison

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR XI: Lloris, Trippier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Rose, Winks, Dier, Sissoko, Lucas, Son, Kane.

CARDIFF CITY XI: Etheridge, Manga, Morrison, Bamba, Bennett, Paterson, Ralls, Arter, Camarasa, Hoilett, Murphy

WATFORD XI: Foster, Femenia, Cathcart, Kabasele, Holebas, Doucoure, Capoue, Hughes, Pereyra, Gray, Deeney

BOURNEMOUTH XI: Begovic, Francis, S. Cook, Ake, Smith, Brooks, Lerma, L. Cook, Fraser, King, Wilson

Currently on 39/40 (depending on Richarlison BAPs).
Still have Hazard (C), Alonso, Salah, Robertson, Aguero, Mitrovic to play.

Some Kane (C)-ers have still done alright though. One in my league with Ryan/Doherty/Wilson/Fraser/Richarlison + 5 players to go.

      Fabianski
      Pereira, Robbo, Alonso
      Salah (C), Hazard, Rich, Fraser
      Arnie, Aguero, Mitro (VC)

      Subs: Hamer, Bennett, Westwood, AWB.

Thinking Pereira to TAA is the move that needs doing. Any suggestions?

Third captaincy blank in a row
GW 6 Hazard vs whu = 3 pts
GW 7 Richarlison vs FUL = 3 pts
GW 8 Kane vs CAR = 1 pt

My goalies have almost outscored my captains this season

Gw 6 and 7 was too punty anyway. Maybe learn from mistakes and captain Salah/Kun next gw?

          1. stat
              7 years, 6 months ago

GW 6 was the only time this season Hazard blanked. He's a valid captaincy option, not a punt.
Richarlison was a punt but the fixture looked very good and I expected Everton to score a lot (which they did), but sadly he wasn't involved.
Probably Kun (C) next GW once I bring him back for Kane.

Learned from last season of not knee jerking Kane in and out just for short time. What you think Rhino? And no it wasnt a calculated decision after moral draining Barca loss.

Real question is if Kane had a brace and assist would you have posted that and said "I'm an idiot for not knee jerking him in."

Missed the deadline for the first time in years yesterday, was extremely frustrated last night. But I feel better today with the Kane blank, as I wouldve brought him in. But the (C) sits on Aguero from last week, need some luck.

May work out okay, now no clue what to do with 2 transfers.

Really want Walcott out now, and finally have no other pressing transfers.

Only .3 in the bank though, so the options are:
          1. Richarlison
          2. Gudmundsson
          3. Pedro
          4. Yarmolenko/Anderson

To be content without a player who had 22 point in 2 , scored vs barca and had Cardiff at home down to 10 men is easy to say after the fact.
