Is it time to invest in defence of Season Ticker high-fliers Brighton?

Brighton and Hove Albion’s budget defensive options could attract some long-term Fantasy Premier League attention very soon.

The Seagulls recently recorded their first clean sheet of 2018/19 in Gameweek 8, which was well-timed with them ascending to second place for defence on our Season Ticker over the next 13 matches.

We’ve decided to look into the numbers to see if Chris Hughton’s men can be trusted with what, on the surface, looks like an extended run of favourable fixtures.

IB question. Anybody got recommendations for decent music films, aka films where music is an important theme (i.e. not necessarily musicals). E.g. Some of my favourites:

    The Broken Circle Breakdown
    We Are the Best!
    The Blues Brothers
    Whiplash
    Almost Famous

Great music in that film. The directors follow up 'Only God Forgives' also has a decent soundtrack.

      School of Rock
      The Pianist
      Birdman

None are as good as Whiplash though. I really recommend The Defiant Ones on Netflix too. It’s a documentary about music but it’s brilliant.

There's a drummer in a room for about 1 second, but I can't think why it would be a music film. Many other films have soundtracks 😛

LalaLand - Top class film making, really.

The Boat That Rocked - Classic Richard Curtis style film, very much a top British production though.

It's All Gone Pete Tong - Pleasently surprising. Rave culture inspired

Human Traffic - Awesome in its day, lost alot of its originality now but it was class when it came out

Searching For Sugarman - Documentary about a musician I wasn't familiar with. Very very good, just watch it.

They all come to mind and are all definitely worth a watch.

      8 Mile for sure
Amadeus (not sure thats what youre going for but theres a lot of classical music in it :p )
La La Land is very good.
Baby Driver is a very stylish music film that you might like, but personally I didnt like it. I think the acting and dialogue are terrible, just couldnt enjoy it.
Drive has an amazing soundtrack. Combined with the cinematography and general mood it really is a beautiful film. But I wouldnt call it a music film.

    Richarlison, hazard, Salah, Maddison
    Mitro, Aguero, Wilson

    Hamer, Bennett, hojberg, AWB

    Options are

    A) upgrade Bennett to TTA but this would give me a benching headache ( I know first world problems). I would probably would want to play four defenders and this would benching Wilson

    B) swap hamer to fabs ( rotates well with Patricio)

    C) something else

i said he was a rotation risk to, but actually he isn't at all, he has started 7 of 8 games. i wouldn't talk yourself out of getting him, he is a great choice.

    Long term direction question

    A) Alonso & Mane; 4-4-2 bench of [ Jimmy, worst of D/B, fodder ]
    B) Awb & Salah; 3-4-3 bench of [ worst of D/B, awb, fodder ]

    Pat/Fab
    xxxx Mendy TAA Doh/Balb
    xxxx Hazard KdB Richi fodder
    Aguero Arnie Jimmy

Had Aguero before gw8, got rid for a Kane (C) punt that obviously failed, and now I'm more tempted to do Kane->Laca than Kane->Aguero...
