Fantasy Premier League managers cannot ignore Liverpool’s upcoming fixtures, even if the Reds have disappointed in recent weeks.

Jurgen Klopp’s men face Huddersfield (away), Cardiff (home), Arsenal (away) and Fulham (home) between now and Gameweek 12.

Those fixtures warrant investment but recent displays have complicated the debate over which Liverpool assets are the best ones to own.

We take a look at some of the most asked questions about Liverpool ahead of Gameweek 9.

Neither buying or selling at this moment in time

Just hold onto assets and review come the end of next week when we know more about injuries etc

Patricio might be injured, so would monitor that (given Hamer):

He's only been released as a precaution, along with Bernardo Silva (and Pepe).

        1. MTPockets
          7 years, 9 months ago

I can't read Portugese, but articles seem to be saying Bernardo was released b/c the next game's just a friendly whereas Patricio b/c he has (translated) "physical complaints" i.e. an injury of some kind.

You are right. Actually I am Portuguese and you understood it well - Bernardo and Pepe were released by technical reasons, whereas Patricio out was due to physical issues

Definitely buying. I do believe form follows fixtures and these are the best fixtures that any top 6 side will get this season.

Salah if possible but if he's injured, Mane or Firmino will have to do along with double Pool at the back.

What are your views on knockaert/Murray/duffy?

They have 6 AWAY games in next 10, will there be scarcity of goals?

If you have to choose, which players will you choose ( from Brighton) and why?

    1. Botman

Duffy and Ryan are the two I am considering. I'd back their defence over goals.

As long as you are not overly reliant on Duffy playing all games for your team i would say he is a good option during this nice run. But if you look closely at it those fixture are not THAT great, but Brighton are decent and it actually gets better in the end of the run, Murray still scoring but for me no, Knockaert is a maybe but for me, Frasier even with a seemingly harder fixturelist seems a better prospect longterm. And if you look closely at those fixtures i´m not totally convinced they are so bad after all attackingwise. I would fancy Bournemouth to score both against Arsenal and United home, and even a goal vs City could be on the cards, lesser attacking teams have scored at Etihad. And after Liverpool, they embark on a nice run again.

  6. MTPockets

Feel I have to hold/buy given the fixtures, but not that happy about it if means Mane/Firmino not Salah.

You definitely must be having sparking rest of team. Salah haz kun strained my team to the limit

      1. MTPockets
        7 years, 9 months ago

No it's just that I've held Salah all this time. If his injury isn't very serious may prefer to sell but roll a FT to get him back later. Which is yet another week where something comes up to postpone selling Pedro.

Robertson / Mane / Salah seem a great trio.

However, for now I’ll hold with Robertson and Mane

      1. MTPockets
        7 years, 9 months ago

They are great but I'd be looking at Mane for Salah, and he has no return in 4 PL games (7 games across competitions). Haven't checked for Firmino. Fixtures have been tough and clustered, but that still doesn't fill me with optimism. Esp if Sturridge/Shaqiri get involved too.

Seems bit of ill thought of article considering majority of members are serious players and wont be selling before hud CAR FUL. You can say its not obvious for others but managers who kept for che mci would NEVER sell for the stretch ahead barring injury. Wish mods would have instead put efforts to discuss sterling vs kun, wilson vs king and sub 5mn strikers

If it’s guaranteed that he is on the verge of playing I will play him but not captain for Huddersfield.
With Periera first on my bench as backup.

If he’s out longer then he’s gone for Sterling.

Keep him and captain him. If he's fit enough to play he'll likely start the game. If not, then be prepared for backup on the bench. Selling is not an option as it would waste precious transfers.

Hey Numb, we [Balegium last year] are recruiting for the new community tournament. Probably only got one place up for grabs and basically would be honoured if you chose to join us !

We have a great team spirit, a nice mix of friendly personalities, a couple of really big guns like yourself [Dan and Hooky], three or four really good players and a nice mix of enthusiastic less experienced players who are improving all the time.

Hope you will consider us ... cheers

          Ederson, Alonso, Robertson are quality.
Fraser, Mane, Hazard, Maddison, Aguero are part of the Top 10k team.

All you need to do is change Knockaert and Monreal to Richarlison and Doherty and you are set for a very good run. Don't fix what isn't broken - the Top 10k know what they are doing.

    2 FT / 3.3 ITB

    Patricio Hamer
    Alonso Trippier TAA Doherty AWB
    Hazard Mane Maddison Fraser Richarlison
    Aguero Mitrovic Jimenez

I guess it's not that bad, but I consider ditching Jimenez, Maddison and Trippier. What are your thoughts?

    1. rojojojo
      • 8 Years
      7 years, 9 months ago

2 free transfers and your team looks pretty decent. With the 3.3 ITB I'd wait on Salah news, and maybe move to him if he's fit. If not, There's tonnes of options to replace Jimenez in the budget forward category at the moment. Murray, Arnautovic etc. But with that team, I'd definitely be saving 1 of the transfers this week.

    Pat (Hen)
    Doherty, Alonso, Mendy, Robbo (WB)
    Rich, Fraser, Hazard (Mad, Hoij)
    Wilson, Kane, Kun

    0.9 ITB, 2FT

plan was considering was Kane and Hoij to Mane and Mitro. But I have become increasingly offput the whole Liverpool attack. Rotation, injuries, squad depth, point sharing, poor form, no captain choice of Salah injured, opponents not quite as bad as appears, etc

What do I do if/when I decide against it. I can't see any player in that 4-3-3 is really be happy dropping for almost anyone.

      Im going laca+sterling.

Isnt there a big chance Ramsey is leaving in january?(still no contract) which would make him getting fewer minutes..
