While Liverpool team news is perhaps the most popular Fantasy Premier League topic this week, we shouldn’t forget about differentials.

In fact, the recent fitness saga for Jurgen Klopp’s Reds has triggered an inclusion of a poorly owned attacking Anfield asset.

He is one of three options, owned by under 5% of Fantasy bosses, who we like the look of for Gameweek 9.

Felipe Anderson (£6.8m)

Ownership: 2.6%

Marko Arnautovic (£7.0m) is, of course, the more popular West Ham option right now but his new colleague Felipe Anderson (£6.8m) is already coming into his own.

His role in set pieces has helped him rise to joint-second for chances created in the last four Gameweeks. He is level with Bernardo Silva (£7.6m) and just one behind Gylfi Sigurdsson (£7.4m) over that time period.

The Brazilian has been involved in direct free-kicks and his place within West Ham’s front three mean that he is often on the receiving end of crosses from the opposite flank – that’s why he was able to score against Manchester United in Gameweek 7.

Tottenham will be without Jan Vertonghen (£5.9m) again on Saturday and may be more vulnerable to a West Ham goal than usual, furthering Anderson’s appeal.

Anthony Knockaert (£5.5m)

Ownership: 1.9%

While Brighton have typically struggled away from home this season, a Gameweek 9 trip to Newcastle United could be their chance to buck the trend.

Only one side has allowed more penalty box goal attempts than the Magpies in home games this season and they are yet to keep a clean sheet in front of their own fans.

For that reason, Anthony Knockaert (£5.5m) could be a differential to consider. He has registered a fine balance between creativity and goal threat in the last four Gameweeks and has more shots on target than colleague Glenn Murray in that time too.

Furthermore, his role in set pieces could prove important. No team has conceded more headed attempts on goal than Newcastle in 2018/19.

Daniel Sturridge (£5.8m)

Ownership: 1.3%

No don’t worry, you haven’t accidentally stumbled across an article from 2014, we have actually tipped Daniel Sturridge (£5.8m) for potential success this week.

The Liverpool striker has made a comeback from injury this season that looks like it could be permanent at long last. More importantly, he’s been getting the job done on the pitch with two substitute Premier League goals this season and strikes also in the Champions League and EFL Cup.

With the recent fitness troubles of Mohamed Salah (£12.8m) and Sadio Mane (£9.8m) there is every reason that Sturridge could come into the side for the trip to Huddersfield Town.

Given he has averaged a goal every 21.5 minutes in the Premier League this season, a start in Gameweek 9 would stand him in good stead for attacking returns.

    Predictions for tomorrow?

    Chelsea 1-1 Man Utd
    Bournemouth 2-0 Southampton
    Cardiff 2-3 Fulham
    Man City 4-0 Burnley
    Newcastle 1-2 Brighton
    West Ham 1-1 Spurs
    Wolves 0-1 Watford
    Huddersfield 0-3 Liverpool

Have a weird feeling that Watford are gonna bounce back and beat Wolves. Not sure why but I feel like it'll happen. They won 4 in a row to start the season, that quality doesn't just disappear.

Spurs are much worse than last season. Look disjointed and WHU will be up for a fight.

They haven't played well though. And I think they're a bit suspect at the back too. Only beat Cardiff 1-0 and look a bit tired. They were probably the most represented team at the WC.

        Results have flattered to deceive.

I can’t disagree I’m looking at transferring both Trippier & Kane to Mendy & Aguero.

I’m amazed we’ve got the results we have so far. Testing few weeks coming up, will be interesting to see how our fatigued players handle it.

Watford's deffense is mess without Kabasele, Holebas and Jaanmat. I guess the arw jnlikely to win, but they could disappoint plenty and score against Wolves.

Probably worth it. I've found out the hard way that trying to spread risk in the defence never works out. If you're confident a team will keep a clean sheet then double up. Doherty/Patricio owners can vouch.

Injury troubles... Mane looking a big doubt now as well as Zaha and Fraser.
Was always planning on Zaha -> Mitro next week, I don’t buy the hype on him being off form and think he’ll deliver with his upcoming fixtures.

Thoughts on a hit for the below?

    Fabianksi
    Alonso Robertson Doherty
    Salah Richarlison Fraser Mane
    Aguero Arnie Zaha

Should I do PVA to Mendy for -4

I will have to transfer out PVA next week anyway and although my team is set up well, I would hate if I had to use another transfer for -4 after Mendys BUR game.

If I transfer him out now, I wont be able to change my team next week or for a minus 4 that coud easily have happened now.
If I am lucky thats the only transfer next week, but with the minus 4, I'd have 2FTs in two weeks time, what will be useful. It's worthy of a hit by any common estimation to me.

Yeah why not if your keeping Mendy in the long run.

Done Zaha to Arnie for a hit. Might not be the brightest idea but I couldn't stand the sight of him in my team anymore

If you were a betting man and was going to bet on 4 likely players to all score tomorrow who'd you pick?

    Mine would be:

    Mitrovic
    Aguero
    Firmino
    Kane

    Better odds:

    Richarlison
    Wilson
    Ings
    Murphy (Cardiff)

      Aguero
      Hazard
      Salah
      Mitro

      Presuming all start

If you're on a wildcard would you get Salah given the doubts over him starting?

Yes with Cardiff at home next week. Natural captain for that match. He will play tomorrow but probably not 90 mins with CL match midweek. A risk worth taking me thinks. I've brought him in on wildcard but will captain kun.

Looks like I'll get him then.
