Pep Guardiola proved himself the villain of the piece once again on Saturday afternoon as he named Raheem Sterling (£11.2m) on the bench for the Gameweek 9 visit of Burnley.

The England international was signed by over 200,000 Fantasy Premier League managers ahead of the game, but has fallen victim to the Manchester City rotation policy for the second time this season.

Sergio Aguero (£11.3m) survived the rotation once again while David Silva (£8.5m) and Benjamin Mendy (£6.2m) also started the match. Kevin De Bruyne (£9.7m) is back in the matchday squad but fit enough only for the bench currently.

To counter Man City’s threat, Sean Dyche has lined up Burnley with five in midfield, Ashley Barnes (£5.7m) dropping out to allow Steven Defour (£5.4m) to return to the side following injury.

There was relief for Ryan Fraser (£6.0m) owners as he came through his latest injury scare to start against Southampton. Team-mate Josh King (£6.4m), also a doubt before Gameweek 9, was also in the starting XI.

The Saints have gone with a 4-4-2 formation with Danny Ings (£5.6m) and Charlie Austin (£5.5m) leading the line.

Christian Eriksen (£9.2m) and Moussa Dembele‘s (£4.9m) return to fitness saw them only considered good enough for the bench for Spurs.

Wolves manager Nuno named an unchanged side for the ninth time in a row, extending the record he broke earlier in the season.

Yeah they're looking not that bad.

Not imo, Anderson defending where Cresswell should be both in the situation leading to goal and another situation right after that. Also a couple of 3 vs 3 Spurs attacks.

  3. Lets jump straight into it.

    Ben Crellin just retweeted

"Daniel Sturridge and Xherdan Shaqiri are both set to start against Huddersfield tonight."

    Mane out?

      Mane and Salah benched IMO.

Yes, Shaqiri in an attacking midfield role, Sturridge up front, Firmino out wide, is my guess.

All of those jumping on the Wolves bandwagon make me laughing. Tripping or doubling up Patricio + defenders.

They are a promoted side, people tend to forget this

      Firm Studge Shaq

      1. Paul Psychic Octopus
        8 years, 6 days ago

His stats have always been pretty good (Germany and PL) if classed as a midfielder. Fulham not pulling up any trees yet but fixtures will get better. He is sort-of OOP and unless you want 2x Everton I'd rather have Rich over Wally for that price bracket and just below.

  17. Niho992

I guess it's more a general question, obv injuries or rest will be taken into account. But it's robbo worth the extra cash? what is people going for? We know TAA is a slight rotation risk, but with in the next couple of months I wouldn't be surprise to see Robbo rested too

as stephens dropping in price tonight, need to make the move. 2fts

    Foster -- Patricio
Alonso Robbo Doherty -- Shaw Awb
Salah Maddison Richarlison Stephens -- camarasa
    Kane Kun King

A: Stephens + Kane >> Hazard + 5.5m fwd but will go for kamara and play 442 with shaw. Leaves 1.1m itb to do king >> arnie/mitro in gw11

B: Shaw + Stephens + Kane >> Schindler + Hazard + Ings (-4). Allows me to play 343 or 433 with schindler starting in games when ings/rich have tough away fixtures. This option also leaves me with 0.6m itb to do king >> arnie/mitro in gw11

C: Camarasa + Kane >> Hazard + Ings. and then shaw/king >> schindler/arnie (-4) in gw11. This is similar to B but allows me delay the hit to gw11 incase something changes plus i can start shaw in gw10 ahead of rich. only issue is that i will endure the stephens price drop
