While the Fantasy Premier League community largely dwells on which big names to move in or out for Gameweek 10, we’ve also been thinking about some differentials.

We’ve got two midfielders and one defender who can offer the potential for FPL points this weekend.

One of them in particular looks ready to provide value for a considerable length of time given their fixtures.

David Brooks (£5.1m)

Ownership: 1.9%

With Bournemouth facing the hapless Fulham defence this week, there is plenty of interest in the Cherries’ attacking options. Ryan Fraser (£6.0m) is the most popular of their assets in midfield with 21.9%, and only Callum Wilson (£6.5m) has more backers on Bournemouth’s roster (24.3%).

However, David Brooks (£5.1m) may have been overlooked for this particular match.

He has outperformed Fraser in recent weeks and looks likely to register attacking returns for the third time in four Gameweeks when he travels to Craven Cottage this weekend.

Since Gameweek 6, Brooks has seven shots to Fraser’s seven, is ahead for shots on target (four to zero) and has had more touches in opponent penalty boxes too (12 to three).

Shane Duffy (£4.5m)

Ownership: 4.5%

This particular choice is perhaps the most long-term of the options worth considering for Gameweek 10.

Brighton currently sit top of our Season Ticker for defensive fixtures over the next six Gameweeks, timed well after they recorded back-to-back clean sheets for the first time this season at Newcastle.

Despite being the flavour of the month, Wolves have actually been quite goal-shy on their travels so far this season. Only Cardiff (one) have scored fewer times in away matches than Nuno’s side (three) in 2018/19.

Furthermore, striker Raúl Jiménez (£5.7m) is without a goal since Gameweek 5.

Afterwards, Brighton face low-scorers Cardiff, Crystal Palace and Huddersfield.

Duffy also carries some goal threat having found the net twice and assisted another two strikes this season.

Jonjo Shelvey (£5.4m)

Ownership: 0.6%

Jonjo Shelvey (£5.4m) could be the best way to capitalise on Newcastle’s upcoming run of appealing matches. While the Magpies have been in poor form, their upcoming schedule provides them with the opportunity to make amends.

The former Swansea City man has registered five shots on target in the last four Gameweeks, the same number as Mohamed Salah and Eden Hazard.

He has also created more chances than Salah in that time, his 10 since Gameweek 6 ranking joint-fourth best in the league.

It’s Southampton up next for Newcastle, who have been very accommodating to their opponents in 2018/19.

Only Brighton and Burnley have allowed more shots in the penalty box over the last four Gameweeks than Mark Hughes’ Saints.

Have this same dilemma. Right now I'm captain Hazard, Vice Mane.

The nightmare scenario is that neither play and you get no double captain.

With Hazard being the bigger doubt, was thinking of going safe and captaining Mane and vice captaining a certain starter like Robertson or Vardy.

I'll probably risk it though. The likelihood of both missing out is low, and the though of Hazard terrorising a weak Burnley defence if fit swings it.

    Foster
    Doherty, Robbo, Alonso
    Salah(c), Hazard, Fraser, Gudmundsson
    Aguero, Mitro, Wilson
    Bench: Fab, AWB, Gunnarsson, Bednarek
    1FT, 1.8itb

    1) Gud > Maddison
    2) Address deadweight: Gunn > Schurrle
    3) Bank FT (drop both BOU next week)

If 2, then Gud would ride the bench for Schurrle in gw10.
