Fantasy Football Scout are delighted to announce the dates of our Fantasy Premier League Cup competitions for the 2018/19 campaign.

We are launching our 16th open-to-all tournament, along with a ninth competition for Members. Both tournaments have £300 in prizes on offer.

Sign-up for the open tournament can be found here.

Members can sign up to both tournaments, via entry forms here and here.

The roll call of former cup winners looks like this: donnellyc, Jonty, Gribude, Goonerdave, Ninja_Fit_Saints, sleeping master, Mch, Wild Rover, Tdubb05 , CMIFLFC, Mark, Leon Harris, A Manager Has No Name, Sleepysi, TH14 and our reigning champion 2EyedTurk.

As former winners, those listed will gain a bye to the first round of the tournament should they enter with the same username.

In our Members Cup, our list of winners is as follows:

Waltzingmatildas, Fuzzy Dunlop, Kippax Kickers Acquafresca, Trigg Ola Svanheld, Malaikat Jahad and the current champion rrcmc.

Again, those listed above will gain a bye to the first round proper of the Members Cup should they enter with the username listed.

If you’re new to our cup competitions, read on for an FAQ, offering all the details.

How do the Cup Competitions Work?

The FFS Cup is very similar to the Fantasy Premier League’s own Fantasy Cup game.

Entrants who qualify for the first round will be randomly drawn against each other and the winner of the tie is whoever has the highest score from that Gameweek, minus points spent on transfers (like in the original game and in head-to-head scores).

In the event of a tie, the manager highest in the overall FPL rankings after the tie will progress.

When do they start?

The qualifying round for the Fantasy Football Scout Cup will take place in Gameweek 12, with the first round proper running in Gameweek 13.

Fantasy managers can enter their teams from now right up to 10.30am on Monday November 12, when we’ll stop entries and make the first round draws shortly after.

The qualifying round for the Members Cup will take place week later in Gameweek 13, with the first round running in Gameweek 14.

Fantasy managers can enter their teams from now right up to 10.30am on Monday November 26, when we’ll stop entries and make the first round draws shortly after.

Previous winners must enter with the same usernames listed above to gain their bye.

How do I enter?

Enter the open-to-all FFS Cup via the entry form here.

Enter the FFS Members Cup via the entry form here. This form is only visible to Members and you will need to log into the Members’ area to view the form.

You will be sent a confirmation email to verify your entry and you’ll be asked to confirm your FPL team ID at the point of entry – please be sure to click the link to verify that your team is correct before confirming. If you FPL team is incorrectly entered, we cannot amend this at a later date.

Your entry is only completed once you have confirmed your FPL team ID as part of the process.

To check that you’re entered correctly, please scan the list of entries.

The open-to-all FFS Cup list is here.

The Members FFS Cup list is here.

How do I find my FPL team ID?

Your FPL ID is your unique ID for your FPL team. This is found via your Gameweek History page – the link to which is found in the right-hand menu under your FPL team strip. When you visit your Gameweek History you will see a number in the URL (as opposed to the XXX below).

https://fantasy.premierleague.com/a/entry/XXX/history

Place this 1-7 digit number, or your Gameweek History URL, in the FPL ID field on the entry form.

When will I find out if I’ve qualified?

Results from the Fantasy Football Scout Cup qualifying round will be published shortly after November 12 and then weekly, after the completion of each Gameweek, from that point on.

Results from the Members Cup qualifying round will be published shortly after November 26 and then weekly, after the completion of each Gameweek, from that point on.

    Patricio
    Walker Alonso Robertson
    Hazard Fraser Maddison Sterling Rich
    Arnie Kun
    (Stek Doherty Ings AWB)

    2FT and 0.1ITB

    a) Patricio > Fabianski
    b) Fraser > Barkley
    c) Patricio & Fraser > Fabianski & Barkley (downside being that using both FTs makes it trickier to get in Salah or Mane next week)"

    1. Lukaku91

def wanna get salah or mane in next week. maybe even this week if you have 2FT now

Currently have Richarlison and intend to keep looking at those home fixtures. Does he have any chance of returns away to Chelsea and Liverpool or should i be looking to shift funds and bring in a 4th defender/5th midfielder and bench him?

Mitrovic -> Arnautovic for a hit

it has to happen. Mitrovic is done, just watched him play 90 minutes and I am now convinced he will do absolutely nothing vs Hfield. Pelligrini confimred Arnautovic isn't injured and I believe he will more than pay for the hit.

    Question is do I do:

    a) Højbjerg (4.4) to Pugh (4.3)
    b) TAA (5.1) to (>5.0) Defender

    if b who?

    1. Kanga roo
      8 years, 2 days ago

Think about it, Arnie HAS to score more than 1 at least over Mitrovic to break even, mitro has a terrible HUD. Play sensible and do it next week.

      1. Bedknobs and Boomsticks
        8 years, 2 days ago

This is nonsense. You make it back over the durafion that you own the new player (assuming that you keepnusing your free transfers elsewhere).

        1. Kanga roo
          8 years, 2 days ago

Sure, but my point is it would be more sensible to do it for free next week when mitro has a dead fixt and we have more info on Arnie.

        2. Lukaku91
          8 years, 2 days ago

I agree because I will keep arnie for 2 months. and so sure mitro aint scoring

          1. Kanga roo
            8 years, 2 days ago

And you're sure Arnie will be in form and fit for those 2 months?

    2. dunas_dog
      • Fantasy Football Scout Member
      8 years, 2 days ago

Not for a hit when Mitro plays Huddersfield and Pellegrini saying Arnie has “disturbance” in his knee.

    3. Doolittle
      8 years, 2 days ago

      Definitely not for a hit.

    4. Lukaku91

      1. Dušan Citizen

He has best fixture out of those.

Doherty tempts me though as I wouldn't have any player in that game which is on TV.

  8. Bobby_Baggio
    8 years, 2 days ago

So chaps G2G or shall I use FT? 0.3m ITB.

    Patricio
    Alonso - TAA - Mendy
    Salah - Fraser - Haz - BSilva
    Wilson - Aguero - Mitro

    (Hamer) - Bennett - AWB - Stephens

Thoughts on TAA + Maddison > Rudiger + Barkley?

I have Mendy, Trippier and Pereira so need a more nailed defender along with AWB.

Leicester's fixtures are nice but really not sure how they're going to react to the recent incident.

    1. Lukaku91
      8 years, 2 days ago

they gonna play with full determination and focus to win matches in the honor of the victims. dont see why everyone seems to think it will mean no points for Maddison or Vardy. I see the opposite happening

        • Fantasy Football Scout Member

Looking for a yay or nay gents, comes to exactly 0.0 right now. Feel almost would rather gamble on the -8 and see better returns this week..

    Ing, Robby, Holebas out

    Jiminez, Mendy, Femenia in

    will then start:

    Patricio
    Mendy, Alonso, Doherty(Femenia, WanB)
    Salah, Hazard, D. Silva, Pereyra(Hoj)
    Aguero, Mitro, Jiminez

As opposed to Ings/Robby starting. Prefer Mendy/Jiminez now and going forward.

    Patricio
    Trippier - Rudiger - Mendy
    Salah - Barkley - DSilva - Richarlison - Mané
    Aguero - Mitrovic

Pat to Fab if no other concerns? Or roll transfer an keep Pat as he has 2 juicy fixtures in a couple of weeks.

I dont own any other Wolves defender.

Laca > Arnie no brainer and possibly upgrade your 4.3 to someone

although I have a feeling Laca might score in this game... but probably Arnie can easily match that
