Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£11.5m) and Alexandre Lacazette (£9.6m) both start for Arsenal as they host Burnley in Gameweek 18’s Saturday lunch-time kick-off.

Sead Kolasinac (£5.0m) returns to the starting line-up after being a fitness doubt for the game, while Ainsley Maitland-Niles (£4.4m) is the one to replace the injured Hector Bellerín (£5.4m) at right-back.

Meanwhile, Mohamed Elneny (£4.3m) comes into the side so that Lucas Torreira (£5.2m) can get a rest on the bench.

Aubameyang and Lacazette are joined in attack by Mesut Özil (£8.0m).

Burnley have lined up with a 5-3-2 formation and are expected to try to stay compact and hit Arsenal on the break.

James Tarkowski (£4.7m), Ben Mee (£4.7m) and Kevin Long (£4.2m) are the centre-backs with Charlie Taylor (£4.4m) and Phil Bardsley (£4.2m) flanking them.

Sean Dyche has typically used just one forward this season but he has bolstered the attack today with the inclusion of Ashley Barnes (£5.6m) and Chris Wood (£6.2m) up front.

Arsenal XI: Leno, Maitland-Niles, Sokratis, Monreal, Kolasinac, Xhaka, Elneny, Guendouzi, Ozil, Lacazette, Aubameyang.

Burnley XI: Hart, Bardsley, Tarkowski, Mee, Long, Taylor, Cork, Westwood, Hendrick, Barnes, Wood.

I reckon he is not. Emery doesn't like him. Laca will be gone in January or next July - Emery convinced him to stay this summer and Laca has not been repaid with proper first team football.

Wow a lot of assertions there. Lacazette has 1132 mins in Prem this season. Maybe he needs to redefine what "proper first team football" means if your psychoanalysis is correct.

Subbing him off at HT vs Huddersfield. Not starting him against Utd or Southampton. Subbing him early vs Burnley. I think Laca gets the message that Auba is no.1.

He was unlucky to have been ousted when out for injury, but nothing is permanent. Lacazette was number one for a time before that. Even Aguero played second fiddle to Jesus at points last season, and Lacazette is on track to play about the same or more minutes than Aguero's average season. Aguero must have been mistreated too?

I' sure Laca has some intelligence to realise that it's a team game. He's just frustrated not to have scored more goals this season. It's not like he's at rock bottom though.

Must be a real stresser owning him, because that may/may not be correct

A.) Why would you drop an in form Auba?

                    B.) Kane hasn’t played yet.

C.) Alonso hasn’t played yet but this is probably the most viable option.

D.) Wait until everyone has played and see.

I'd be out of there in jan if I was Laca. Needless substitution, if you HAD to make a change, 2-1 v Burnley 10 mins to go you'd bring Auba off as Laca is better holding the ball up etc. Don't see the logic other than an Auba hatty if emery has fpl.

I randomly went to the game mid-week. Biggest cheer of the night was when Laca came on, can't see arsenal fans being happy with his unjustified lack of mins.

Emery is the manager, not the fans. Emery doesn't like Laca. Laca was gone in summer, but Emery convinced him to stay. Now both Auba and Laca are fit, it is clear who is no.1 and who Emery likes.

Still, you'd be gone if you were Laca.

I agree with you that he will be gone in either January or next summer.
