As inapproprite as this q is, it is a valid Q imo. From a buddy of mine.

Since Sala never made an appearance, and never made it to training . . .
    Is Cardiff getting a refund?

Ahh, I see. From a heartless and cold business pov, this is a huge financial loss, since Sala was their record signing. Just wondering what do Cardiff get as compensation.

I thought this too, but i doubt it. Mostly because it's not his old club's responsibility to make sure to get him to Cardiff in one piece. Hopefully insurance of some sort though involved.

Poch doesn't really have a history of rushing him back in, and he looked knackered against Qatar. If the game against Watford is in danger, he can always be subbed on. Besides, I imagine Poch would rather risk Watford and have Son rested for the next three, than have him at sub-optimal levels for longer, co sidering they are lacking so many real threats

When he's tired, he generally plays more anonymously - imo it's why Poch subs him off early in many games, he tends to fade out in the final minutes even at full strength.

Im not sure Poch can afford to bench him. Spurs need to get back to form. Even the Fulham win was lucky and they didnt play well. I suppose it depends on how tired he is though.

I have looked at 352 but it means selling Auba. Although I could spend the money on the back 4, losing Auba before those fixtures looks very risky. I won't spend -4 on it.

When a player has a red flag removed it resets their % to zero and locks it there for 1 week.

Also true for players that join the league after the start, e.g. Higuain. Not sure why they do it really.

I’m looking at getting both, have exact funds for both and can lose 0.1 on the two outgoing players before losing value. It’s lovely.

    3. Mo Mané Mo Problems
      • 10 Years
      5 years, 3 months ago

The trouble will be that if they blank/get injured and there is a mass sell off, the owners have gained nothing, in terms of transfers in, so price drops could happen quite easily.

      For example Higuain:

Say 200k transfer him in. His % will remain at 0. Then once he gets unlocked, If he gets injured in the first match and his ownership at the start of the GW was 200k then he’ll only require 20k net sales to fall 0.1.

Not to mention that 100% of those managers that transferred him in are still most likely “active” and you have a player with a price that could easily fluctuate.

      1. Amey
        • 5 Years

        Very good point.
Was thinking about getting Higuain IN for 1 gw if Chelsea gets dgw25

Yeah it’s why I’m on the fence..

Fraser and Kun to Son and Higuain (-4).

Also, what I’ve said isn’t gospel it’s speculation from what I’ve observed in the past. There are probably loads of other tweaks to the overall price algorithm.

There has to be. But this is very logical reasoning IMO what you have said.
Will have to keep a close eye on Auba & Higuain switch back for 1 gw.
Imagine being priced out while doing that & being stuck with Higuain against City instead of planned Auba against Hudds 😀

So FA Cup going well so far for non-wildcarders:

    So far:
    Utd to beat Arsenal ✅

    To go:
    Spurs beat Palace
    Shrewsbury beat Wolves
    Watford beat Newcastle
    Wimbledon beat West Ham
    WBA beat Brighton
    City to beat Burnley
    Millwall to beat Everton
    Chelsea to beat Sheffield Wednesday

    One down, 8 to go!

As in those that have used their wildcard already.

Wildcard is most powerful when there is a bumper DGW or to sort your team out after loading up on BGW players.

Blanks in GW31 if the above results happen:
        United City
        Everton Chelsea
        Spurs Crystal Palace
        Watford Soton

Plus one more round for any of those 5 to go out.

I should save ft here right? Tempted by Son and Higuain though......

        Speroni - Fabianski
        TAA - Luiz - Digne - Bennett - Doherty
        Richarlison - Hazard - Salah - Pogba - Camarasa
        Jimenez - Rashford - Firmino

Have exact funds for either Pogba -> Son, or Firmino -> Higuain. Not sure about these moves but they are the options imo. Not taking a hit and Hazard / Salah going nowhere.

Are you chasing or leading in mini leagues/OR target?

Sadly, way off in both. Having a harsh time of it.

              Mini league I'm 122 behind
              OR is around 230k

Then yes, getting on Hig and Son early could be a good differential for a week or so. Think you need to start taking some risks to make up that sort of difference as a strong core template is forming. Good luck!

Thanks man. You make a good point. Mini league rival (we talk fantasy a lot) is trying to find the best way to get Higuain in and will not sell Pogba. No chance. Pogba -> Son then and let him take the risk with Higuain vs my Firmino?

Yes Salah every week for both of us. Know for sure he'll go Salah vs WHU so I was already eyeing up Hazard for that gwk.

Would take a -8 to get both Higuain and Son this week so may just opt for Son. Rival doesn't have Firmino.

Perhaps but you might need both differentials to really make any difference as if they do well i'm sure your rival will bring them in soon to block you. Do they perma-captain Salah? Not this GW but maybe when Liverpool play away to West Ham you could captain someone else. Higuain against Hudds for example.

Who is your longest owned awful player you cannot get rid of?

For me it's Michael Keane. Got in GW13 (instead of Digne!) and has returned the miserable:

              8, 2, 0, 1, 1, -1, 2, 2, 5, 1

Looking forward to seeing the back of him, there has always been another fire to put out but hopefully in GW26/27
