My understanding is...
-It might make BGW33 difficult to field a team, as with FH31 your team is then set for 32 but then not set for 33 (unless you WC in 33, but then you ideally want your WC for 34 to set your team for DGW35);
-It's hard to plan for the blanks in 32 until 31 finishes, because 32 blanks won't be annouced until 31 finishes. So, you can't really properly plan for 32 blanks now.

My bad results have mostly come from the ones I kept, despite them not playing 31.

My issues have been with players like Salah Hazard Pogba failing, especially as captains, and the likes of Auba & Rashford not starting or being injured ... nothing to do with building for 31.
