We continue our series of articles on the best Free Hit squad for Double Gameweek 32 by looking at the defenders.

Those that have been considered are players who have two fixtures in the upcoming round of action.

      Think Bilva is high risk of rotation for Fa Cup, would much prefer Dilva. Same goes for Deulofeu.

          Bilva just played 2 full games for Portugal while Dilva is retired.

          Think Pep will likely have starting the cup semi, but David should be a bit safer for PL.

      He’s in my most recent draft. Will only stay if Aurier is actually properly injured. Even then it’s debatable. Pro’s; conveniently fills a spot and ticks a box of having Spurs ‘cover’. 2m+ cheaper than the mids and offers returns both ends of the pitch. Con’s: Pool away could be a negative score and then KWP gets CPL in order to save Trip for the cup.

        Can’t fault it. The little tweaks are just a matter of personal opinion and situation. Different people will tell you either City triple up or go the Def. Truth is no one knows, it’s a gamble. All I’ll say is if you’re chasing, the triple up attack is a great chance of pulling back big points.

          Thanks mate! Need to make up 40 points to catch up in ML. Do you think that its worth the risk of triple city attack? I can see Laporte easily getting 2 CS plus a possibility of a goal.

            I’m chasing 60 and seriously considering. But tbh it looks tempting atm because of United strikers injury doubts. If Lukaku fit for example, I’d take him over Sane all day long. He can be that explosive diff but will start both.

              Fair point. Also bare in mind that opponents have pretty used all their chips. So torn in between as i think City defensive cover is essential but then i need to catch up. Did a few changes and came up with this

    Not sure why the lads on FML FPL are going 5 at the back.. seems a very low ceiling to me and no guarantee of a double clean sheet for Chelsea / United.

      There was a stat heavy article someone posted yesterday that showed, historically, that defenders from the top 7 clubs (that season) do better in dgws than attackers, so a back 4 or 5 is preferable.

      kane/rash/kaku(if fit)/jiminez/deeney/higuain

      for mids I see sterling/haz/pogba//mili/ plus maybe dilva or eriksen

      either could score as many as the others depending on minutes and how the games go, I'm currently on 343 but normally prefer 352, really not sure atm -- if rash is injured and if I worry about jiminez minutes, then I may go kane+kun with 352, or even 442

    Kane?

    I can have rash or jimi instead which enables bold double CHE defence.....

    my initial thoughts were that I must have Kane for a DGW, but Liverpool away, plus Palace means I don't think he'll romp, however slight worry that first game at new stadium I'm worried about hearing commentator saying 'kane hat-trick , the script was written..blah blah blah'

    what's people's view on Kane for this week?

    Is it worth going all out City/Chelsea attack if youre trailing by 40 points in ML? Bare in mind that other players already used FH but not TC AND there's another DGW coming up. I just feel like defenders might actually do well this week. PLEASE HELP
