      Seeing Lukaku there dismisses the trust I was about to build, tbh. They seem so sure he'll play, contrary to all we've heard so far. Seems the team is based on the pictures of players coming to training posted by MEN today

          Yes, but was still away, long flight, jet lag etc...I mean I wouldn't say that alone is enough, but coupled with the FA cup game, I'd say he is risky to play twice.

      Considering him as my only Sane alternative tbh as third City asset, simply down to his character, attacking potential and the fact he could be given the Fulham game which I can see double digits! (this in turn allows me to revert to a Kane team)

      Not a fan of playing 3 in midfield for a FH. Also not keen on martial (have to have Pogba really), and don't think CHO will get enough gametime (and waste of a Chelsea spot).

    Would you upgrade Schlupp to Van Aanholt if you had the funds? Slightly greater expected pointed but understnad Schlupp is playing OOP (but could also mean him missing out). Thoughts?

      ...strong opinion on fan forums suggest that he was dropped for the FA cup game and that he should be dropped more often! I really like him as an asset but don't have the confidence to go with him all considering!

    I'm gonna go Rogue and go with Mendy.

    Any time he has been fit he has played 90 mins every game.

    Zinchenko is a natural CM and Delph is injured I reckon Pep will play him.

      Fully with you. Rest of my FH team is bang-on template, so I don't see myself losing much if Mendy plays only one game...

      First game is tomorrow. Mendy is fit today. Would take an illness or new injury to keep him or Fernandinho out of the starting lineups

      It''s the only way I can afford Kane, and too man injury doubts around.

      A gamble. Basically you’re sacrificing a mids points such as Bilva for whatever Kane can outscore Batshuayi by.
      Palace v Spurs has been the crux for me this week. Think I’m going Palace players as it improves rest of team no end and first games at new stadiums isn’t always a given for home teams.
      If CHO gets one game though it could be happy days for you. Geez it’s complicated! Good luck bud.

      Was just gonna post this same question when I saw your post.
      I've had batshuayi in my team all week as I thought rashford would be unavailable. Now rash is likely to play and lukaku not, I want him back. One way to get rash back is to do batshuayi and rudiger (I'm covered with kepa for chelsea) to rash and holebas. Watford have a relatively easy second fixture against Fulham so, holebas could easily get an attacking return. I think that he may get two games over the gw as he has missed a few games recently and should be well rested.
      What's your thought process on holebas.

      Would have jumped on Holebas if Masina was playing badly... But he isn't
      What helps the Holebas pick is that Masina is Gracia's "park the bus" chess piece
      So, Masina is more likely to start vs Man U, Holebas vs Fulham... Which could mean a haul
      I won't get him (Mendy's my fun pick instead), but I'd say the pros slightly outweigh the cons

Are you not worried about starts with everyone for Citeh back? I am between Ederson, Luiz and Dunk vs Kepa, Laporte and Duffy... prefer the latter but have doubts on Laporte..
