Rashford absent for Man United’s trip to Wolves

Marcus Rashford (£7.6m) was not named in Manchester United’s matchday squad to face Wolves on Tuesday night.

It is understood by the Manchester Evening News that the forward missed out on the Molineux encounter because of an illness.

It means that Romelu Lukaku (£10.8m) returns to the starting line-up for the first time since Gameweek 30.

The Belgian is flanked by Jesse Lingard (£6.7m) and FPL defender Diogo Dalot (£5.3m) in a front three.

Anthony Martial (£7.2m) has been named on the bench while Paul Pogba (£8.9m), Fred (£5.4m) and Scott McTominay (£4.2m) are selected as the midfield trio.

Victor Lindelöf (£5.1m) returns at centre-back after missing the Watford game, and plays in defence alongside Chris Smalling (£5.6m), Luke Shaw (£5.1m) and captain Ashley Young (£5.7m).

Meanwhile, Wolves have restored Raúl Jiménez (£6.8m) and Matt Doherty (£5.4m) to the side after they were beaten 2-0 at Burnley on Saturday.

It is certainly a much stronger looking outfit with those two back, while Ryan Bennett (£4.1m) returns from suspension.

Ruben Vinagre (£4.3m), who has shown statistical promise in his recent performances, comes in for Jonny (£4.3m) at left-back.

After much concern over rotation, Troy Deeney (£5.9m) and Gerard Deulofeu (£5.7m) both started both Double Gameweek 32 matches, the second seeing them host Fulham.

That selection comes in spite of Watford playing Wolves in Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final.

In fact, Javi Gracia’s only changes to the side that lost at Manchester United on Saturday are all in defence.

Daryl Janmaat (£4.9m), Christian Kabasele (£4.4m) and Adam Masina (£4.3m) all drop the bench while Miguel Britos (£4.3m) misses out entirely.

Coming in for the quartet are José Holebas (£4.8m), Adrian Mariappa (£4.2m), Craig Cathcart (£4.5m) and Kiko Femenía (£4.2m).

After they missed out on the defeat to Manchester City, Tim Ream (£4.2m) and Aleksandar Mitrovic (£6.4m) return to the Fulham side.

Watford XI: Foster; Kiko, Mariappa, Cathcart, Holebas; Hughes, Doucouré, Capoue, Pereyra; Deulofeu, Deeney.

Fulham XI: Rico; Christie, Ream, Le Marchand, Bryan; Anguissa, Chambers; Babel, Cairney, Sessegnon; Mitrovic.

Wolves XI: Rui Patrício; Bennett, Coady, Boly; Doherty, Dendoncker, Rúben Neves, João Moutinho, Rúben Vinagre; Jiménez, Diogo Jota.

Manchester United XI: De Gea; Shaw, Lindelöf, Smalling, Young; Pogba, Fred, McTominay; Lingard, Lukaku, Dalot.

Morning all. Nice surprise Jimmy getting the extra assist. Noticed Robertson is on 179 points. Will he become the first defender to pass 200 points?

So if you were leading you ML's by say 10 & 22 respectively, would you do the following for a - 4 for this GW?

    a. Fab > Leno
    b. Anderson > Maddo/Tielemans

Or would you just do B and do A with WC in GW34?

    Cheers

I'd avoid the - 4 to keep my lead. Mind you I like hits so who am I to advise!

Do b. Fab will get many save points tonight. May even get a cleanie as Chelsea are pretty rubbish. Anderson is on the beach already so tielemans would be the one for me.

In the a similar position in my ML. Do what you think is best for the rest of the season. If thats a hit then do it. Don't think about what your rival is doing. Thats when you will make the wrong move. It is a bit like golf. Your playing the game not the player. Just my opinion but when you worry anout covering others or nit making a move because its a hit then you start to go against what has obviously got you

Haz is a trap. It has to be mane. Salah is way to out of form to c him. In fact i am considering robertson c.

Just saw that Young was the United captain yesterday. Pathetic. What an incredible liability he is. Captains should lead by example, and fair enough, everyone on that pitch bar Dalot/McTom followed suit.

Palace should see United right back situation and think to themselves "we can squeeze 50m from Woodward for Aaron, cant we?"

    1. Eze Really?

    Morning gents

Tough pill to swallow this week (especially after last week)

My team for next week I have over 6 mill ITB but no goalkeeper potentially.

    Boruc*
    Rice TAA Lascelles
    Salah hazard Maddison Brooks
    Firmino Wilson Barnes

I’m tempted to do Rice to Chilwell or Azpi and risk no GK

Or would you guys do Boruc to any keeper and play rice ?

Id do rice to chilli asap and do boruc to Schmeichel just for this week only. Providing you have a wc to sort that out next week. If not stick with no keeper.

Unless Huddersfield go out like WBA did ! 😀

Thanks for the reply. It does seem more fun to do the hit

After this gw. Fun fun fun. When i sit back and don't take hits anymore is when my lead always withers away. From now until the end of the season I'm going with my gut with my decisionsand advice. Play hard or go home. 😉

Do we have 4-8 people who are interested in playing a draft for the last few gameweeks? If so, I'll create one - it can start 35 mins from now (quicker if requested). Please reply below.

I refer my learned friend to a previous answer. When i sit back and don't take hits anymore is when my lead always withers away. From now until the end of the season I'm going with my gut with my decisionsand advice. Play hard or go home. However, not on any chelsea players. Hig is sh1t and Salah will out score haz.
