Marcus Rashford (£7.6m) was not named in Manchester United’s matchday squad to face Wolves on Tuesday night.

It is understood by the Manchester Evening News that the forward missed out on the Molineux encounter because of an illness.

It means that Romelu Lukaku (£10.8m) returns to the starting line-up for the first time since Gameweek 30.

The Belgian is flanked by Jesse Lingard (£6.7m) and FPL defender Diogo Dalot (£5.3m) in a front three.

Anthony Martial (£7.2m) has been named on the bench while Paul Pogba (£8.9m), Fred (£5.4m) and Scott McTominay (£4.2m) are selected as the midfield trio.

Victor Lindelöf (£5.1m) returns at centre-back after missing the Watford game, and plays in defence alongside Chris Smalling (£5.6m), Luke Shaw (£5.1m) and captain Ashley Young (£5.7m).

Meanwhile, Wolves have restored Raúl Jiménez (£6.8m) and Matt Doherty (£5.4m) to the side after they were beaten 2-0 at Burnley on Saturday.

It is certainly a much stronger looking outfit with those two back, while Ryan Bennett (£4.1m) returns from suspension.

Ruben Vinagre (£4.3m), who has shown statistical promise in his recent performances, comes in for Jonny (£4.3m) at left-back.

After much concern over rotation, Troy Deeney (£5.9m) and Gerard Deulofeu (£5.7m) both started both Double Gameweek 32 matches, the second seeing them host Fulham.

That selection comes in spite of Watford playing Wolves in Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final.

In fact, Javi Gracia’s only changes to the side that lost at Manchester United on Saturday are all in defence.

Daryl Janmaat (£4.9m), Christian Kabasele (£4.4m) and Adam Masina (£4.3m) all drop the bench while Miguel Britos (£4.3m) misses out entirely.

Coming in for the quartet are José Holebas (£4.8m), Adrian Mariappa (£4.2m), Craig Cathcart (£4.5m) and Kiko Femenía (£4.2m).

After they missed out on the defeat to Manchester City, Tim Ream (£4.2m) and Aleksandar Mitrovic (£6.4m) return to the Fulham side.

Watford XI: Foster; Kiko, Mariappa, Cathcart, Holebas; Hughes, Doucouré, Capoue, Pereyra; Deulofeu, Deeney.

Fulham XI: Rico; Christie, Ream, Le Marchand, Bryan; Anguissa, Chambers; Babel, Cairney, Sessegnon; Mitrovic.

Wolves XI: Rui Patrício; Bennett, Coady, Boly; Doherty, Dendoncker, Rúben Neves, João Moutinho, Rúben Vinagre; Jiménez, Diogo Jota.

Manchester United XI: De Gea; Shaw, Lindelöf, Smalling, Young; Pogba, Fred, McTominay; Lingard, Lukaku, Dalot.

Define a shot, hundreds of goals over time scored by just getting a mere touch on a ball.

I think it's kinda sad that trying to start discussions is looked down upon here. There are so many RMTs and pointless posts, and I actually try to offer a different perspective sometimes. I also don't ask for it to be a Hot Topic. It seems like a strange thing to be annoyed by.

I didn't give the HT its title and I didn't make it a HT in the first place. I simply enjoy FPL strategy discussion (and I've contributed articles to the site as well) and I like trying to take the odd calculated risk, which I do think people could sometimes do more of in this game. I don't really see how any of that is offensive, but each to their own.

It was really a pop a the quality of the hot topic and not at you. I know it wasn't your fault they made one decision made by one guy a HT.
It was a good call and you're absolutely flying it, so honest congrats from me.
I wasn't offended by it, more disappointed with how the site has dipped if they consider some pretty basic strategic thinking (again, no offence) as HT worthy.

Fair enough. I was pretty surprised to see it as a HT to be honest. I posted it in the middle of the night UK time (I'm in Australia) and thought there might be some dead zone chat, so I really wasn't expecting the reaction.

I do get that it can be annoying (and maybe even come across patronising) to make those kinds of posts, but at the same time I am genuinely just trying to provoke some slightly different thinking about the game. And if you can't do that when your strategies are paying off that season, when can you do it!

Plus, I did qualify with my comments below the OP that I wasn't really meaning to focus on the actual points in hindsight, but rather the idea around 'coverage' that comes with a significant price saving and the potential to upgrade elsewhere, especially on a FH when it's a one-off decision and you're not actually stuck with someone like Martial.

Anyway, all good. It's my personal opinion that strategy discussion and debate should be encouraged around here, so I'll probably keep fighting the fight despite the criticisms!

I was one person who asked for this to be a HT - I think it was a well thought out opinion, and whether you agree with it or not, if it is a HT, it then invites discussion and more effectively shares information that some of us may appreciate. Looking at the HT list right now, its full of scheduled HTs and I'd say any reasonable effort to venture opinion should be HT considered to break this mould. Also, looking at Minus Fours rank, I'd say his opinion is definitely one I'd like to hear.

Me: Free hit chip in double gameweek could be a significant advantage, especially after weeks of planning to navigate the blanks that surround it.

Reality: Red arrow down to 66k despite playing the FH chip, outscored by the team I built for GW31 so far. Played TC on Salah in GW31.

    Why bother.

I'm sure that I heard on talk sport on way home from work that Aguero is out tomorrow. Am I wrong?

Jimmy assist for looking at Jones in a funny way so he panics and lays it on a plate for Smalling

Who's goal would it have been if Smalling missed it?

    Which first?

BAPs out and no explanation or a well worded explanation of why Jimenez isn't getting the assist?

It has to be either an assist or goal for Jimenez. How many times have people gotten an assist/goal without even being aware of the touch.

They won't have the balls to give a goal for it. I would've thought the assist was guaranteed but they're taking way too long over it.
