Everton v Arsenal was the only Premier League match to take place on Sunday, so attention now switches to the FA Cup semi-final between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Watford.

Both of these sides enjoy two fixtures in Double Gameweek 35 and several of their players will be very much in the minds of Fantasy managers as they prepare their squads for the season run-in.

There are three changes to the Wolves side that beat Manchester United in midweek but the team that lines up at Wembley is effectively Nuno Espirito Santo’s first-choice starting XI, save for the inclusion of cup goalkeeper John Ruddy over Rui Patricio.

Romain Saiss gets the nod over Ryan Bennett at centre-half, while Jonny returns at wing-back as Ruben Vinagre makes way.

Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota resume their partnership up front, while Matt Doherty – owned by more than one in five FPL managers – lines up on the right flank.

Javi Gracia has made two changes to the team that beat Fulham on Tuesday, with Heurelho Gomes replacing Ben Foster as anticipated.

More noteworthy for Fantasy managers ahead of Gameweek 35 is the inclusion of Andre Gray over Gerard Deulofeu up front.

Gray set up two of the Hornets’ goals against the Cottagers in midweek and was talked up by fellow striker Troy Deeney in the club captain’s post-match interview.

Wolves XI (3-5-2): Ruddy, Saiss, Coady, Boly, Doherty, Dendoncker, Moutinho, Neves, Jonny, Jota, Jimenez.

Watford XI (4-4-2): Gomes, Kiko Femenía, Mariappa, Cathcart, Holebas, Hughes, Doucouré, Capoue, Pereyra, Deeney, Gray.

4 of the last 6 Arsenal games are away from home so i think you have to look elsewhere at this point... i’m looking at Firmino personally... he doesn’t have the double but he has Cardiff (a) 35 and Huddersfield (h) 36

Is Bennett dropped, or is this part of the fa cup rotation, same as Ruddy playing over Patricio.

Has Bennett played all the other cup games until now?

Wondering the same. Think the fact he isn't starting this game is enough to not include him in my WC. Shame as Doherty costs so much more.

        Thanks macho man.
I think I’ll stick with him, he’s been pretty consistent all season.
Maybe Jonny at 4.3m is a compromise though?

          All good, brother.

Jonny nowhere near as explosive, but considering him due to the obvious price difference. Is he nailed on?

Do we think Wolves have enough to play for to continue this intensity of performance? Fighting for Europe so I'd hope so, trying to justify my triple up at the moment! They can blow hot and cold at times

Getting 7th would mean even if they lose the final they'll get Europa. That and a small squad helps them.

    WC draft:

    ryan - foster
    robbo - vvd - laporte - kolasinac - doherty
    salah - pogba - sterling - doucourè - romeu
    jimenez - vardy - deeney

    1) GW34 --> WC
    2) GW35 --> BB
    3) GW36 -> WIP

    doubts:
    1) no kun because "pep rotation", i'm not sure on sterling
    2) no spurs for rotation and actual moment.

    any suggestion?

Was going to go with just one Wolf. But had to switch things up on WC now. Decent draft?

    Ryan, Foster
    Doh, Robbo, Trip, Duffy, Valery
    Sterling, Mane, Son, Jota, JWP
    Jane, Jimenez, Deeney

Maybe Deeney > Wood for 34 only?

How’s she looking? WC draft having dropped Kolas for Doherty. What was I thinking?!

    0.4itb
    Lloris, Foster
    TAA, Laporte, Doherty, Duffy, Valery
    Sterling, Mané, Eriksen, Jota, Douco
    Kane, Jimi, Deeney

Would prefer Salah but not sure what changes I’d make.

    Cheers

      Possible downgrades to afford Salah...
      Erik > Son?
      Lloris > Ryan?

      1. Don Kloppeone
        • 8 Years
        7 years, 3 months ago

        I’d have to downgrade:
        Eriksen > Son
        Lloris > Ryan
        Laporte > Kolas/ max 5.0

        Not ideal!

Jimenez is wonderful player. He would easily play in first XI in Chelsea,Arsenal and United.

Lot of better than Auba,Laca, Higuain, Rash etc...

He would be in rotation in Liverpool,City and Tottenham

    WC34 team..BB35..

    Lloris foster
    Robbo laporte doherty duffy valery
    Sterling mane son jota jwp
    Kane rashford jimenez

Dilemma: Murray (BOU CAR) or rashford (WHU)

WC gang - who is keeping Vardy for 34 then switching for 35? Think can hold off on getting Jimi until then.

I'll have Kane - Vardy - Rashford for 34. Jimi in for 35 for Vardy.

Rash has West Ham at home which is a better fixture than what Jimi has.

      Laporte, Trent, Duffy, Doherty, Valery
      Sterling, Salah, Eriksen, Jota, Decoure
      Kane, Jimmy, Deeney

      .3 itb

looks a strong team mate. I've Robbo over TAA (since GW1), Son over Eriksen (for now) Lloris over ryan, camarasa/jwp over doucoure and currently mane over salah. also keeping vardy another week before getting deeney

        Lloris Foster
        *dunno* Robertson Duffy Doherty Bednarek
        Sterling Mane Son Jota Camarasa
        Kane Jimenez Deeney*
