Son and Trippier benched as Eriksen starts for Spurs

Son Heung-min (£8.7m) and Kieran Trippier (£6.0m) are among the benched players for Spurs in their Double Gameweek 34 fixture.

With already-relegated Huddersfield coming to north London, Mauricio Pochettino has taken this opportunity to start Fernando Llorente (£5.1m) and Kyle Walker-Peters (£4.2m) in their place.

Christian Eriksen (£9.3m) has held onto his place in the side and without Trippier should have a greater involvement in set pieces.

Also, with Son on the bench and Harry Kane (£12.6m) injured, it is possible the Danish international could be taking the penalties too.

Ben Davies (£5.6m) comes in for Danny Rose (£5.8m) at left-back, while Juan Foyth (£5.0m) starts alongside Jan Vertonghen (£5.9m) and Davinson Sánchez (£5.8m) so that Toby Alderweireld (£6.0m) can have a rest on the bench.

Huddersfield have lined themselves up in a 4-5-1 formation with Karlan Grant (£5.0m) leading the line. He has two goals in his last two away trips.

Chris Löwe (£4.4m) and Jon Stankovic (£3.9m) are both playing out of position in midfield.

Spurs XI: Lloris, Walker-Peters, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Foyth, Davies, Sissoko, Eriksen, Moura, Wanyama, Llorente

Huddersfield XI: Hamer; Durm, Kongolo, Schindler, Hadergjonaj; Löwe, Stankovic, Hogg, Bacuna, Kachunga; Grant.

    I was thinking it would be a good idea if the game introduced a chip to counteract the 'bench wankery' that seems to go on during busy periods of the season.

    You'd get the time between line ups and kick off to change any already made transfers for free and to also make additional ones for a hit as standard.

    But then isn't it part of the game to try and figure out who will start, racking your brains to get inside the managers head before ultimately just doing what everyone else does and spend your Saturday morning into your cereal because you made the wrong decision again?

      I capped Son and have Trippier so now I hate it. But then there are times when everything goes your way with rotation etc and you would be so annoyed if the game wasn't built around picking the managers brains like you say. I wouldn't mind your suggestion for a chip though, it would only be once and you would still have to pay for transfers, so pretty good idea.
