Chelsea take on Burnley in west London this evening, with kick-off at Stamford Bridge at 20:00 BST.

Eden Hazard has shaken off a minor knock to start for the Blues and is back on the left flank, following his run-out as a “false nine” against Liverpool last weekend.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Callum Hudson-Odoi each start their fourth successive Premier League matches, while Gonzalo Higuain is recalled up front.

Higuain for Willian is one of two changes Maurizio Sarri has made from the defeat at Anfield, with Andreas Christensen in for the injured Antonio Rudiger his other alteration.

Marcos Alonso is once again sidelined so Emerson Palmieri continues at left-back.

After three wins on the spin, Sean Dyche has unsurprisingly named an unchanged starting XI for the trip to west London.

Phil Bardsley hasn’t recovered from a gashed leg so Matthew Lowton continues at right-back.

Johann Berg Gudmundsson still can’t find his way back into the Clarets’ side, with Jeff Hendrick again preferred on the right flank.

Hazard was the most-sold midfielder (and second-most-sold asset overall) of Gameweek 35, with almost 275,000 FPL managers transferring out the Chelsea winger.

16.19% of the top 10,000 Fantasy managers still own Hazard, with his overall ownership figure standing at 27.07% at the point of the Gameweek 35 deadline.

The Blues beat Burnley 4-0 in the reverse fixture of this game but only two of the six players involved in the goals – Loftus-Cheek and N’Golo Kante – start this evening.

Chelsea XI (4-3-3): Kepa, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Luiz, Emerson, Jorginho, Kanté, Loftus-Cheek, Hazard, Hudson-Odoi, Higuaín.

Burnley XI (4-4-2): Heaton, Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor, Hendrick, Westwood, Cork, McNeil, Wood, Barnes.

          Bench Gray
I'd say Yes to get Mane as i think he'll haul (I'm TC'ing), but could backfire. 50/50 really. Doesn't have as much impact if it goes wrong if you're captaining Salah anyway..

'I have a notebook where I record each week when refs cost us points. We would be on 83 points this season if it wasn’t for them. Fair enough we’d be 5 points behind but at least we’d be in with a fighting chance'

        LOL

        1. Party time
          7 years, 3 months ago

Those teams you will be 5 points behind also have had the ref moments this season. Can't lay judgement on the ref decisions. If so, I think, you've to factor every teams ref officiating

The only way to get Salah is:
    Kdb and Sterling
    to
Salah and up to 8.2 (who you advise?) -4

Alli can play in his position. (Alli, Moura, Son, Llorente) or just a change of formation. Surprised he's not had a rest yet I think if he gets one it will be against Brighton otherwise probably no rest. At most comes off early a couple times if winning.

Unlucky. Big hits are high risk, high reward.

Barnes couldn't have foreseen, but Vardy and hazard not a big surprise.

You could match the 25, but the extra 12 is a struggle.

Rashford is 22 in October, been at United since age 7, made his debut more than 3 years ago, a full international with World Cup experience.

Yes I think he will improve but don’t get Cavani to ‘buy time’ for Rashford to develop.

What’s he gonna develop ? Photos? Extra ears?

Sign a 29 year old striker with proven premier league track record
              Or
Sign a near 33 year old, great player but for how much longer.

Cavani Would not be the signing I’d be after

    Hi,

I’m currently 26 points behind the leader in my ML.

I have Salah and he has Mane. I have TC left. Should I TC on Salah if I know he does not have him? (I can monitor team value to see if he gets him in). I will be swapping Eriksen for Mane this week to cover his position.

Salah finally coming good again resulting in Liverpool edging the title race in my eyes - he's also a bit of a differential as far as transfers in are concerned at the moment.

I could also not bother with Mane and get BSilva in instead to have even more differentials. He has Sterling too and I have Aguero.

Don't laugh, but I'm considering Ings as part of a 3-5-2 / 3-4-3 rotation but with BOU/ west h/ HUDD in the last three, could be a nifty little differential - PLUS you'd have Salah!

Ha! Oh, sorry you said don't laugh.

I wouldn't normally consider Salah for the price vs his form, but he's possibly the only player that could make up the points (especially as I can TC).

            Vardy in great form though

Yeah, I just don't like the Leicester fixtures, so ditched him on my wild card - then he went and scored. Salah becoming a differential in my mini league that I seriously want though.

Whoosh. Hardly right for a United fan to use in that period.
It’s an English expression first used before the US existed.

Thick and thin in the real supporters world means travelling 200 miles in winter for an evening kick off when you are working the next day and getting beat 3 - 0 as expected

GW 36 is definitely going to be Salah vs Mané. It will be exciting to watch who returns more points on Friday

    Best Transfer for this week:

    1. Vardy >> Firmino
    2. Lloris >> Alisson
    3. Doherty >> TAA

    Thanks

Spurs fixtures are too good until the end to replace Lloris, I'd do 3.

A million dollar question, however, I am starting to think he is based on his recent attacking returns against Porto and Cardiff

Anyone could be rested against Hudds, including him. You'd think TAA never plays if you go by the amount of comments worrying about him starting on a weekly basis here.

I'm thinking 1 myself, though I expect Vardy may get points against Arsenal... but I just want the 3rd pool for Huddersfield.

Not worth it for hit, if so. I suggest you stay in the party on Sunday

yeah i figured i needed double pool attack, but could firmino be rotated? tbh i have mane too, and he could easily be rotated

I'd think firmino the least likely to be rested after the benching in Porto game.

Leading ML by ~20; TAA currently is a differential between me and 2nd place. TAA worth getting to mitigate that? fwiw - rival's done with chips, I have TC left. TIA!

    1) Laporte > TAA
    2) Anything hit-worthy?
    3) Save

    Foster, Ryan
    Robbo, Laporte, Doherty, Duffy, Valery
    Mane, Sterling, Son, Jota, JWP
    Aguero, Jimenez, Wilson

    Good Ebening.

Got exact cash to do Doherty > TAA for free to give me this team:

    0itb
    Lloris
    Robbo, Laporte, TAA
    Salah (TC), Eriksen, Son, Jota
    Kun, Jimi, Wilson
    (Foster) (JWP, Yoshida, Valery)

Worth the move? It is that or dropping Eriksen for Mané but not feeling the love for that despite its popularity....obviously let’s see what Erik does tomorrow night!

    Thoughts?
    Cheers!

Of you have the money for erik to mane without taking a hit, I’d go for that. Wait til tomorrow, maybe you’ll be forced a move.
The doherty to taa is a good move if u still fancy Eriksen after the next match.

Yeh I agree with this. Unfort I’d need a -4 for Erik > Mane so prob the defender move looks better but depends on Eriksen tomorrow and if we get any insight re LIV benchings
