The final Double Gameweek of the season is almost over and the end of 2018/19 is in sight, with just three Gameweeks left to navigate.

Fantasy Premier League managers have less than 48 hours between the culmination of Gameweek 35 and the deadline for Gameweek 36, which is at an earlier-than-usual time of 19:00 BST on Friday because of the televised clash between Liverpool and Huddersfield Town.

That game at Anfield is perhaps the central focus of many FPL bosses’ plans, especially for those with the Triple Captain chip left to use.

You can ask one of our panel a question on this topic or any other subject relating to Fantasy football by filling in the form below.

Who’s on the panel this week?

Ben Crabtree – A former winner of Fantasy Premier League, Ben finished first in the overall rankings in the 2016/17 season.

FPL Family – Lee and Sam are the well-known married couple who play Fantasy football together and run a YouTube channel documenting their thoughts. They have appeared on the Official FPL show this season.

G-Whizz – One of our very own moderators on the site, who currently has an overall rank of 6,521 going into Wednesday’s final two fixtures of Gameweek 35.

Already have Robbo, which other 2 Liverpool players would you go for? Can't afford both Salah and Mane, but one of them plus any defender is easily doable, or Mane and Bobby.

Now that we are winding down another season, i'm sure there are still plenty of MLs that are still to be decided.

What's the biggest gap anyone has managed to close on their respective MLs?

    a) 25
    b) 30
    c) 35+

      You need better options

Over what time frame? Almost regardless it will be much much bigger than 35 points

Haven't needed to this year but last year I done 80+ over 8 GW's. Would say 10 points per GW is do able for anyone.

      Me 2118
      2nd 2117
      3rd 2093

I won our league last year and want to be first to retain my title! £120 up for grabs too

      3

Kun at home has the highest likely ceiling. Mane has been very consistent but not particularly explosive. I’d want to gamble on something big.

Sterling would be my second choice - perhaps this week as the perfect differential to all those Salah TCers

      1. RAFA THE GAFFA

Yeah, Sterling this week is a sneaky one. Even just the (C) on him could be great.

I’d add that there is at least some rotation risk with Mane. Liverpool do have other forward assets, Firmino got an unexpected rest the other week and he’s played an awful lot.

          Point well made and taken

I’d rather forgotten week 1 and the Cardiff match. I was thinking more of his recent returns since his return to form. It feels a slightly different attack to me now.

Hi all - any recommendations going into the next gameweek? At the moment I can't currently see a transfer I'd want to do so thinking of just rolling my free transfer until the following week.

    1 FT, 0 ITB

    Ryan (Foster)
    Robertson, Laporte, Duffy (Vertonghen, Boly)
Mane (c), Sterling, Son, Eriksen, Deulofeu
    Firmino (vc), Jiminez (Gray)

Any thoughts would be welcome - thanks in advance!

Might consider Eriksen --> Redmond as he may get rested, but if you don't like that, remainder of the team is great so i'd roll!

I’m chasing - both OR and in cash ML. In my ML everyone above me bar 2 people have Mané and no Salah. I have Salah and plan to TC. Am I better to get in Mané as a shield in case he explodes or Bobby as a nice rested differential?

    Lloris
    Robertson, Doherty, Duffy
    Mane, Eriksen, Sterling, Son
    Aguero, Jimenez, Gray
    Bench: Foster, JWP, Valery, Dunk

    A) Eriksen & Aguero -> Salah & Rashford (-4)
    B) Sterling & Gray -> Salah & non playing £4.4m striker (-4) [ would move Salah back to Sterling next week]
    C) Aguero -> Firminio
    D) Sort out my defence (and stick with just 2 Liverpool)

Have a very similar team with the same 2 Pool players.

My transfer options are also similar to yours. I'm thinking of saving FT as I feel it's not worth selling Sterling, Aguero or Eriksen for a hit. Instead I could use these transfers to sort out of my defence and get other attackers from next week.

      1. TheDragon

Saving a FT and Mane matching / outscoring Salah this week would be my dream outcome.

However, Salah seems so up for it again now, I almost feel like I’ll get him in at any cost. Although you are probably right that the best approach is to do nothing

He looks a great option for this but I'm not sure about the next 2 games. The 2 games with Barcelona are going to be high intensity and will take alot out of them physically.

Just doesn't feel worth it selling the other big hitters for hits to get Salah.

    Start Foster or Gunn?
I have both Jiménez and Wilson too

Thinking Eriksen to Mane FT (likely TC)
I could do Jiménez to Auba or Lacazette? If Jiménez doesn’t score tmrw that would be 5 games in a row.
    Also own Jota

    Appreciate any input

Seen a few people say that Poch's most important game is always the next one and that they can't see Eriksen being rested.

However, consider this: Spurs are 1.1 to finish in the top 4. ie. 91% - and for good reason. They only need 6 points in their remaining 3 games to virtually guarantee it. But realistically, 1 win and a draw will probably be enough given how poor Chelsea/Arsenal are and that they would both have to win all remaining games to both overtake Spurs.

This is probably the best chance Spurs will have of winning the CL (or just getting to the final) - especially with Son out, they're going to need Eriksen for that game and the more refreshed he is, the better.

You may say: well if he was going to rest him, surely against Brighton would have been better? Wrong. And Brighton (and Eriksen) proved that - they were always going to set up how they did and frustrate us. The 3 points were vital in that game given how everyone else had slipped up to give Spurs that cushion and be close to guaranteeing top 4.

If Poch starts Eriksen IMO he has made a mistake. I know he's valued top 4 above all else in the past and I've always stood by and agreed with his decision despite other Spurs fans thinking otherwise - FA cup/League Cup would be nice, but not at the expense of top 4. CL is different especially when there's a realistic shot of winning it.

Fair points. Is up to Poch at the end of the day though.

It may just make a difference that he had an extended break in early season - missing the best part of 6 matches. He’s played a lot of minutes recently but he doesn’t have as many miles in his legs as those who have played almost throughout.
