For the final time this season, we are taking your questions to put to our panel.

Gameweek 38 will round-up the 2018/19 season on Sunday afternoon but there is still plenty on the line for Fantasy managers.

If you’re looking for the scoop on the players to sign or shift, or perhaps a differential tactic, then you’ve come to the right place.

Who’s on the panel this week?

Always Cheating Podcast – The USA’s number one FPL podcast, hosted by Brandon and Josh, who is currently inside the top 2,000 ahead of Gameweek 38.

Gregor – One of our very own mods, who currently sits at 36k overall and has finished inside the top 1,000 in three of the last five seasons.

Simon March – Fantasy Premier League champion from the 2014/15 season and now a regular pundit on FFScout and the FPL Show.

Rival has Jimenez & will play him. I have 5 points lead. I think he blanks. Keep or sell? Bottomed.

I would say Wilson due to his recent away record.
Also he tends to have big scores.

Who gets dumped along with Son? 2FTs, 0.0itb

    Foster
    Robbo, TAA, Laporte, Valery
    Mane, Sterilng, JWP, **Son**
    Aguero, Wilson
    (Ryan; Jimenez, Jota, Duffy)

Thought about both of them, actually.

How serious is the Robbo injury? I didn't watch the game yet.

          Subbed at HT.
I think Milner will play this weekend and Robbo will be ready for UCL final.
          But wait for presser.

If Fate had sat klopp and pep down at the beginning of the season and told them "one of you will win the CL and the other the Prem, work it out between you who gets what..."

itd be the other way round, right?

No, didn't think Liverpool had any chance in the league. Man City got 100 pts last season. CL would have been Liverpool's best bet especially with Real Madrid weaker than usual

3 point lead in my mini league

Considering Jimenez and Pereira -> Laporte and Rondon ? -4 hit.

The guy who is second has Pogba so I could also do Son to Pogba but not convinced on him, considering Bilva also.

    Would love some advice

      my team
      guaita, boruc
robbo, TTA, wan biss, periera, bennett
      son, sterling, mane, eriksen, babel
      aguero, zaha, jimenez

      opponents team
      patricio, boruc
      robba, TAA, boly, yoshida, pereira
      richarlison, sterling, mane, pogba
      wilson, aguero, jimenez

Will be a very close finish. I think rondon laporte and bilva are good differentials to go for. or just play it safe and get pogba cover and hope my other players outperform his. i assume we will both captain Aguerooooooo

I most definitely don’t hate Liverpool mate! I preferred Barca for the win tonight just because I’ve semi supported them since I went and saw a game w my dad when I was like 10, but if it was v any other team I’d support Pool! And I wanted em to win the league too.

Not sure which posts make it seem like I “hate” them but that ain’t the case

Totally lost on what to do with second FT. Son is out, obviously, but who else? Leaning toward Jim right now, but not convinced that's the best move.
    Thoughts as of now...

    1) Son, Jim > Fraser, Vardy
    2) Son, Jim > Eriksen, Rondon
    3) Son, Jim > Redmond, Vardy
    4) Son, Jim > Siggy, Rashford

Robbo and Son owner like many so perhaps its time to finally get a City defender! Kompany is tempting after his midweek heroics.

Wow. So because Kompany scores his first goal in how long? and his first goal outside the box in... how long? you're thinking of bringing him in.

Help required pls regarding transfer costs at the final game week.

Normally any transfer points are deducted Transfer points at the start of the next Gameweek. Wharlt happens then if it's the last game week? Are they deducted at the final tally of game week 38? I pretty sure l didn't receive any deducted transfer points last season.

Clarification on this would be great.

    1. Klein
      • 10 Years

Transfer points are always deducted at the end of a gw and not the begining of next. Similar to 38.

        Thx for your reply.

However that's NOT what it stares when l go into the rules. It says this:

"Transfer points are deducted at the start of the next Gameweek"

        What do you think?

        1. Klein
          • 10 Years

Actually its the deadline that its talking about i think. Deadline of the next gw meaning start of that gw.

They are normally deducted at the first update after the first lot of games, not at the end of the GW. But with all matches in GW38 played at the same time, it will be once the final updates are done.

    Lloris (speroni)
    Robertson* Laporte Bednarek (doherty kelly)
    Hazard Mane Pogba Son** (højbjerg)

Obviously potential Robbo injury throws a spammer in the works, but hopefully if he’s out we’ll get confirmation and I can swap to TAA.

Yeah.. I decided not to do early transfers in case of other injuries so am now priced out of Doherty Son to TAA BSilva (-4) - though could obviously lose Robbo over Doherty if he’s confirmed out and do it.

Just some on here said he’s a bit of a flat pick?

Haha, true, butI think he'll start. Looked v. bright wjen he came on last week, and just won both Saints Player's and Fan's POTY. Plus Ralph want to enx the season at home with a bang imo.

If robbo confirmed out, Is TAA worth a hit? Or shall i just play Cathcart (WHU)?

Why does it have to be for a hit? TAA is cheaper.

He’s probably having to also replace Son, and only has 1FT. I’m in same position.

I wouldn’t be against playing Cathcart (my alternative is Bednarek which is also ok) but really am tempted by TAA seven for a hit if Robbo out. I’d hope he can repay it, even just in the one week

Yeah exactly. Getting Cathcart + Robbo instead of TAA + Laporte on WC has been detrimental to my season hahah

Ouchhhh that’s rough. Yeah Robbo Laporte here at least but wish I had the Liverpool double.

Will start w that next season I think! Maybe even splash in defence and get Mendy Laporte too if both nailed! 😮

Yeah, TAA + Robbo is the one ill be looking at. 22 league assists between them is incredible

And even more FPL assists I am sure

To clarify: I DO NOT HATE LIVERPOOL. That is a false narrative that may have been incorrectly perceived from my posts earlier about preferring Barca to win. Read my reply to Niho above if you want. 🙂

All credit to the Reds they were fantastic tonight.

You guys remember that pro footballer featured in an article from few weeks ago that played FPL and is doing rather well? He got sacked by his club for calling in sick to go watch Ajax in CL.

Missed the game last night, couldn't believe the result. Was around for a brief moment at 1-0 near half time.
