The third instalment of the Fantasy Football Scout Charity Cup takes place today.

Following the success of the first two competitions in February and November 2018, which featured around 80 players and raised over £2,000 for the Melanoma Research Foundation and for Campaign Against Living Miserably, this time we’ll be raising money for the Stroke Association.

Most of you will know that Joe, a much-loved member of FFS and the wider Fantasy Football community, recently suffered a bleed on his brain. Thankfully, after a fairly hellish month, he is gradually returning to normal.

The Charity Cup will be held this morning at Whittington Park Astro Pitch in London linked heremeeting at 9:15 am to finalise teams etc.

The full address is Holloway Road, Islington, London N19 4RS. The closest Tube station is Archway on the Northern Line (8min walk) and the closest London Overground station is Upper Holloway (2min walk).

As always, the precise format (including squad sizes) will depend on numbers but everyone will get decent game-time in a 7 or 8 aside format.

This is real-life football (not an FPL online cup!) with players of all ages, fitness and abilities very welcome.

As with previous tournaments, we’ll be organising players into squads, so you don’t need to round up a team yourself, although feel free to invite guest players to boost the numbers.

If you would like to take part please email peter.kouwenberg76@gmail.com with your contact details and you will be added to the WhatsApp group for further information (unless you state that you would rather receive information by separate email only).

Even if you are not able to play, please donate to the Stroke Association at the Just Giving page which is linked here.

Lampard knows very him very well so I expect he starts.
I'm now warming to the idea of including him from the start

I've put him in now. Forget waiting for a striker. All the value holds in the playmaker in Chelsea. He took a few free kicks for Derby last season as well. If Alonso isn't first choice, Mount could even be on those. ESSENTIAL for me.

What’s the latest on your interest in our lad McBurnie? Gonna make another bid or not?

Praying you don’t... but if you do straight in my team haha.

Since I ain't got Sterling in my team, hate to say it, but the VVD option seems stronger.

Mount has a good chance. He's impressed being top scorer in pre season and is a lampard favourite. Difficult to see why he wouldn't

Barkley is slightly different. He needs to earn lampard trust. Doing ok so far but time will tell

True. Even if the one starts you could easily see the other making an impact. Would it be foolish to put them both in? Mount does seem like the favourite at the moment I must say. Having that big game mentality swings it slightly in Barkley's favour don't you think?

    Bottomed on last page

    Two Questions for you

If you had to have a Burnley DF in your team who would you have?

    &

If you had to double up who would you have

    Leicester (Vardy/Perez)

    or

    Bournemouth (Wilson/Fraser)

Any ideas would be welcomed and appreciated

If Zaha signs does that mean Rich playing upfront all season?

Is it possible to check your FPL scores for all GWs from last season?

If you finished top 100 or took screenshots.
Once the FPL site updated, much more difficult.

Any thoughts about Pepe? Probably a great signing if deal will be closed...and a tempting mid option if priced 8.0 or below ?
