Everton’s popular attacking assets have underwhelmed Fantasy Premier League managers so far this season.

After two matches, they have scored just once, only Crystal Palace finding the net fewer times than the Toffees at this stage.

Perhaps we should not be too surprised to see Marco Silva’s men struggle in front of goal at this stage.

During their pre-season campaign, they scored just three goals in seven matches, with Richarlison (£8.0m) the only key figure missing for most of it.

One was registered against Kenyan side Kariobangi Sharks, while Monaco and Mainz were the only other teams to concede against Everton.

The Toffees drew blanks in four of their summer friendlies, against FC Sion, Wigan Athletic, Sevilla and Werder Bremen.

Of those who found the back of the net, Joe Williams and Lewis Gibson are not first-team regulars, the former now a permanent Wigan player, while Seamus Coleman (£5.5m) is the only summer goal-scorer to have played in either Premier League match so far this season.

Accordingly, ahead of a Gameweek 3 trip to Aston Villa, Fantasy managers might be looking to move on their Everton attackers.

We have assessed the underlying statistics from their first two matches of the campaign to find out if the Toffees have simply been unlucky not to score more often, or if there are some tangible reasons for concern.

As this article uses data from the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area only those who have signed up for the 2019/20 season can access it in full.

Good deal even when we're excluding rises and drops. McGinn's a good option for 5.6m

    Bottomed so cheeky repost.

Cheers all who helped on the aids and many posts previously. It's done.. Aubameyang, Perez, Robertson to Kane, Martial, AWB (-4) and 0.7itb.

    Hendo
    VVD Digne Montoya AWB
    Martial Sterling Salah Robinson
    Kane Wesley
    (Stek, Dendonk, Greenwood, Diop)

Still not completely sure on captain and nice amount itb to upgrade Wesley or Robinson next week. :). Possibility of also dropping Kane to an emerging 6-7mil forward and Robinson to Son, Pepe or KDB.

GL lads, how you lot set up?

Which currently unpopular player do you see becoming a bandwagon favourite in the next couple of weeks?

Which currently popular player do you see trolling everyone and losing their bandwagon in a couple of weeks?

I'll go Haller for the first question, Ceballos for the second

Since Ceballos has two tough fixtures ahead, he would hardly be trolling if he doesn’t score well.

      1. Rocky FPL
        • 8 Years
        7 years, 1 day ago

I don't think Ceballos is a good fpl player even with good fixtures. He might play well but will miss out on fpl points. Like Modric type. Assisting the assister type.

He was number 10 against Burnley, all the attacking play went through him. Looked good (if he keeps playing)

            • 8 Years
            7 years, 1 day ago

I know. Thats why said he is a Modric type. I have seen Ceballos play for over 2 years now. He is a great talent. Will he get fpl points is what I am wondering. He hasn't been a goal scoring Midfielder till now. He is more of a controlling the tempo of the game type. That could change though.

I don't know how to explain. He is like Bilva in Midfield if you know what I mean. For 5.5 that could be cheap especially if he is taking set pieces.

yeah I think im gonna go with Kane and just tinkering around Kane+Mount+Kelly = TAA+Son+Wickham as just one example of a switch that could be made. not to mention, Mane/Salah or jumping on any striker wagon thats not Aguero

Dean Smith first words press conference. McGinn looks our likeliest source of goals. Getting in good forward positions.

Played the wildcard and following the price rises came out with these lot
    Pickford 4
    Digne, Laporte, Vvd, Lundstram, Kelly
    Sterling,KdB,Martial,McGinn,Cantwell
    Kane,Rashford,4.5

    Got a 0.02 rise on Martial,plus 0.01 on kdb,sterling,rash,Lundstram,Pickford,Cantwell,McGinn

Is it worth to change any of them now or is it better to wait till they rise again

It’s ok but would definitely consider some Liverpool attackers

For someone around 4.5m would you go with Soyuncu or dunk? Feel like Soyuncu plays for the better side but dunk capable of scoring / BAPs

    Subs:

    - Dendoncker or Cantwell?
    - Kelly or Hanley?

Already got Pukki so don't really want 3 x Norwich...

    Cheers.

Already done Wilson & Perez to Pukki and Sterling.

Thoughts on VvD, Montoya, Salah & Perez to Lundstram, Kelly, Sterling & Mané?

    Heaton, Pope
    Robertson, Zinchenko, Walker-Peters, (Lundstram, Kelly)
    Sterling, KdB, Mané, Dendoncker, Robinson
    Kane, Pukki (Greenwood)

    Thanks

Attacking returns in each of Jota's 3 Europa league games but none in his two league matches. Any concerns for owners?

The opposite. It looks promising for the next few.
