Bournemouth face Everton in the first of two Premier League matches to take place this Sunday.

Kick-off at the Vitality Stadium is at 14:00 BST.

There were a couple of surprises when the teamsheets were released, although we have come to expect the unexpected with Eddie Howe.

Lewis Cook (£5.0m) makes his first Premier League start of 2019 after recovering from a long-term knee injury, while Ryan Fraser (£7.3m) drops to the substitutes’ bench for the first time this season.

Adam Smith (£4.4m) has failed to recover from a hamstring problem so is replaced by debutant Jack Stacey (£4.4m) at right-back, while Chris Mepham (£4.9m) is only fit enough for a place on the bench after picking up an injury while on duty with Wales.

Nathan Ake (£4.9m) moves back across to centre-half, paving the way for a return at left-back for budget FPL defender Diego Rico (£4.0m).

Dominic Solanke (£5.4m) also starts for the Cherries, alongside Joshua King (£6.3m) and Callum Wilson (£7.8m).

Marco Silva has himself named two changes from the team that defeated Wolves a fortnight ago, one of which sees Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£5.8m) return up front at the expense of Moise Kean (£6.8m).

Morgan Schneiderlin (£4.5m) replaces the missing Andre Gomes (£5.4m) in Silva’s only other alteration.

The Everton boss has since confirmed that Gomes has picked up a rib injury.

Alex Iwobi (£5.9m) and ‘out of position’ FPL defender Fabian Delph (£5.4m) make their second successive league starts for the Toffees.

This fixture generally generates goals: 31 of them have been scored in eight meetings between the two sides since Bournemouth were promoted.

Bournemouth XI: Ramsdale, Stacey, S. Cook, Ake, Rico, Billing, L. Cook, H. Wilson, Solanke, C. Wilson, King.

Everton XI: Pickford, Coleman, Keane, Mina, Digne, Delph, Schneiderlin, Richarlison, Sigurdsson, Iwobi, Calvert-Lewin.

It's difficult to justify keeping them at this rate

I need more time but I'm considering getting the likes of mane/son and Pepe (depending on how he does today)

Have both, on a wildcard now and already shipped Salah out, thinking of taking change on Arsenal players now, want to see the game today before making decisions, Pepe and Auba now playing up front with Laca out

Fixtures decided this for me. Sterling looked more dangerous and hit the post. Another day... and so on.

Salah to Son and Greenwood > Abraham done yesterday.

And despite everyone saying that Liverpool and MCI are fixture proof, it is not actually true. Yes, they can score against every team, but they are not free scoring against tougher defences.

    8. LSK
      7 years, 1 month ago

Keeping both for gwk 6. Will consider one of them to Son and Wickham to Tammy for gwk 7. I’ll probably lose Sterling as I have Kun as well.

Which team looks better just now? WC available but not active
    A) Söyüncü + Ceballos Son Cantwell + Abraham (0.2 ITB)
    B) Zinchenko + Mount KDB Dendoncker + Greenwood (1.7 ITB, current)

    Pope Button
    TAA Digne ___ Lundstram Rico
    Salah Sterling ___ ___ ___
    Pukki Barnes ___

B is current team. Unsure what changes to be made but likely to give Barnes another week and maybe Zinchenko too so could roll FT...

New template to emerge in the next couple of weeks.

    Pope - 4m
    Lundstram - Kolasinac - Hanley/Rico - ? - ?
    Mane - Sterling - Son - Pepe - Cantwell
    Wilson - Abraham - Pukki

Fill the defense with what's left.

    WCers, take note. 😉

Kolasinic and Lund every week? Nty... Tierney fit soon. Agree with mid and attack tbf. If I was to WC I'd do similar. Defo Pepe, Son and Mane

      1. pundit of punts
        7 years, 1 month ago

Kolasinac every week is fine. Great fixtures if he's nailed on. Lund not every week. 2 other defenders will be in there for 9.5m or so depending on TV.

    3. ⭐ Bemba_Da ⭐
      7 years, 1 month ago

Tierney will be in many teams when he is fit. I'd see him in there instead of kola

      1. pundit of punts
        7 years, 1 month ago

Kolasinac playing well. He has to mess up badly for Tierny to get a game.

Kdb for Sterling. TAA at the back

      1. pundit of punts

    3. PrettyDick

as a liverpool fan who only misses the rare game or two per season I'd say hold. I'd still say that Salah is still more likely to get more points than Mané. He gets in to better scoring chances more often, on the other hand Mané doesn't always require as high quality chances to score. And Mo is on penalties.

ps. I own Mané myself, but that was because I saw use for that extra million elsewhere. Not sure it was right and will most likely get Salah when our fixtures get a little bit better. Or maybe even before that if something happens
