The final two matches of Gameweek 6 take place this afternoon as Chelsea entertain Liverpool and Arsenal take on Aston Villa.

Kick-off at Stamford Bridge and at the Emirates is at 16:30 BST.

The headline news comes from west London, with Chelsea – and Fantasy managers – handed a boost upon the release of the teamsheets.

Mason Mount has recovered from injury to make his sixth straight start in the top flight, while N’Golo Kante and Emerson Palmieri are also back in Frank Lampard’s starting XI after stepping up their recoveries over the last week.

Lampard has ditched the 3-4-2-1 and reverted to a 4-3-3, with Tammy Abraham flanked by Mount and Willian up top.

Liverpool have made only one change from the side that lost to Napoli in midweek, with Georginio Wijnaldum in for James Milner in central midfield.

That means there are starts for Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andrew Robertson, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.

Unai Emery has made multiple changes from the side that beat Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday but, compared to Arsenal’s Gameweek 5 line-up, there is only one alteration: Bukayo Saka in for Mesut Ozil.

Sead Kolasinac has been passed fit despite coming off with a minor knock in Germany.

Aston Villa also make just one change to the side that drew 0-0 against West Ham on Monday night: Trezeguet returns from suspension and replaces the benched Jota.

Arsenal XI: Leno, Maitland-Niles, Luiz, Sokratis, Kolasinac, Xhaka, Guendouzi, Ceballos, Pepe, Aubameyang, Saka.

Aston Villa XI: Heaton, Guilbert, Engels, Mings, Taylor, Nakamba, McGinn, Grealish, El Ghazi, Trezeguet, Wesley.

Chelsea XI: Kepa, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Tomori, Emerson, Kanté, Jorginho, Kovačić, Willian, Abraham, Mount.

Liverpool XI: Adrian, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Mane, Salah, Firmino.

Was going to WC this but seems foolish after a decent gw

    Heaton

    Digne Otamendi Robertson Rico Montoya

    Kdb Sterling Salah Ceballos Mcginn

    Pukki Barnes Greenwood

Ceballos - > Mount & do without Son + Abraham etc for another week seems the best route

      Looks good tbf.

Tough decision whether to bench Digne though. Type of player who can score points even when Everton have a shocker.

There is a - 8 I have in my head but probably looks unlikely to be paid back this week anyway

Digne, Ceballos & Barnes - > Aurier, Mount & Abraham

Is it feasible to have a decent team with no Liverpool and Man City defenders?

Difficult to have a decent team with any defenders everyone leaking goals this season. Would look at those most likely to get attacking returns rather than cs

      I have no Liverpool or Man City defender...team looks like this;

      Ryan Button
      Digne Aurier Pieters Lundstram Mings
      KDB Sterling Son James Dendoncker
      Auba Wood Abraham

Had a few good weeks with this team since wildcarding, lets see what the next few have in store.

there will be a lot of drops when they blank next week, gonna be annoying. Think I will lsoe Cantwell at that stage and keep Pukki and Hanley. Pukki will egt a drop as well tho.
Maybe im wrong and they get soemthing vs Palace but doesnt look likely, suepr unlikely Pukki and Cantwell both get something. I give that a 10% chance max

I gotta say that Pepe (c) with 16 points feels pretty good after so many captain blanks until now.
Only Otamendi outscored him in my team because I have wrong City players, obviously.

He looks a decent player. Can finish and his link up play is really tidy. It's the supply for him that troubles me. Yarmalenko and Anderson aren't the type of players to feed him crosses, they are looking more to cut inside and look for goal. Also he seemed isolated too often in the last two games and easily marked out in the box.

throw in the mix I can then afford Barnes to Firmino and seems a good move for 3-4 weeks. Then can downgrade Firm and get Salah back

A pretty disappointing 65pts this week after autosubs giving me a mediocre green from 586k to 412k OR (I wouldn’t moan but the norm on here seems to be a far bigger jump!). Missing a few key players and need to have less cash in defence. What would you do?

      2FT 0.1itb
      Heaton
      VVD*, Zinch*, Digne*, AWB
      Salah, Sterling, KDB, Mount
      Pukki, Haller*
      (Button) (Cantwell, Lunds, Greenwood)

I still have WC. I would probably change most of my defence and get at least Son and maybe Wilson or Tammy.

Can you see moves I can do to avoid the WC yet? Happy to take a -4 or maybe -8 for great moves. Just can’t see the best way forward!

      Thank you!

Final piece of the WC puzzle, which is the better pairing?

      A) Sterling + Aurier
      B) Son + TAA

A would be a triple up with KDB and Aguero
