Scout’s Pro Pundits Squad adds five new signings

We are delighted to add five more leading names to the Fantasy Football Scout Pro Pundits squad.

Andy, Luke Williams, Sam Bonfield, Holly Shand and Tom Freeman have all come on board to provide even more advice for every aspiring Fantasy manager and help this site maintain its position as the leading resource in the FPL community.

Our Pro Pundits team collects together some of the most influential voices and rising stars from across the Fantasy world to share their insights.

Every week these managers will publish updates on their own FPL selections in the form of articles outlining their tactics and the thought processes behind their selections.

The content produced as a result of this new initiative will benefit both those who are Members of our site and those who are not.

Our Members will benefit from the full unedited insight and some enhanced elements but, as part of our ongoing ten-year commitment to support the Fantasy community as a whole, we are sharing a large amount with all FFS visitors for free.

Furthermore, we are also opening up a chance to engage with the Pro Pundits directly via regular Hot Topics on the site plus appearances on popular videos such as the Scoutcast and Breakfast Club.

Last week, we unveiled that Ash (FPL Hints), Az Phillips, Simon March, Zophar and Lateriser12 had joined the team.

Now we are very excited to double our squad size, with five additional signings.

Our latest Pro Pundit Signings:

  • Andy (Let’s Talk FPL)
  • Luke Williams (d1sable)
  • Sam Bonfield (FPL Family)
  • Holly Shand (FPL Community)
  • Tom Freeman (FFS user avfc82)

Andy is the face of Let’s Talk FPL, one of the leading fantasy YouTube channels and has been a big part of the Scoutcast over a number of years. He has two top 10k finishes and an additional three inside the top 20k over nine years.

Luke comes on board with a slightly different brief to the others. Rather than provide us with written articles on his FPL team, he will star in regular Sky Sports Fantasy videos on our YouTube channels. The fact that both he and Az have joined the team means that their podcast FPL Top Guns will be available to listen to on our website too.

One half of the much-loved FPL Family, Sam has served up two top 30k finishes in the last two seasons and is currently inside the 15k worldwide in what is proving to be a rather challenging 2019/20 campaign. She regularly appears on the FPL Show, the Premier League’s YouTube programme FPLFYI and their official podcast.

Holly, the founder of FPL Community, has two top 10k finishes in five FPL seasons, is a regular guest on the FPL Show and recent addition to the Scoutcast line-up.

Finally, Tom comes onto the team to make most of us feel wildly insecure about our overall rank history. A long-time Fantasy Football Scout user, he has finished inside the top 1,000 a staggering five times since 2009.

To find all the latest Pro Pundits articles, use the navigation menu at the top of the site. You can filter by each author or read all of their content in one place depending on which option you select.

Thank you once again to you are readers for the support you have given us over a period of transition in recent years.

It is through your contributions and input that we are able to continue growing the site and maintaining its position at the top of the Fantasy field.

    Feels like it's time to move McGinn on, he's 5th midfielder in a 3-5-2, playing deeper and fixtures are horrible...will be downgrading VVD to either Dunk or Boly, so will have between 7.2 and 7.6m for a replacement (Option A). Other option is to hold McGinn and bench, and move to 3-4-3 which would mean bringing in £6m ish forward (Maupay?)

    A) and which option...Maddison / Yarmalenko / James / other?
    or
    B) 3-4-3 and bring in Maupay / other

    Any thoughts much appreciated

          Sure, I am doing it start of GW10 though so will not feature vs City. I would have benched McGinn vs City and Pool.

          Beating the price rises.

    I have 2 FTs & not really looking to change anything in my team. Have 0.7M ITB & could do Robertson > Trent, what do you guys think?

    Pope [McGovern]
    Robertson* Soyuncu Tomori [Lundstram Rico]
    Salah Sterling KdB Maddison Mount
    Abraham Jimenez [Connolly]

      Seems a bit sideways, but better than burning a transfer. Otherwise, Soyunc out? Stream of 2 pointers.

      Better value in most of the other teams.

      Good luck with getting Martial πŸ™‚

      Barnes to a 4.5 & Dendoncker to Barnes/Maddison maybe?

      Way to much cash in defence imo. The value of Soy, Tom and Lundstram could tempt me to downgrade Otamendi to a 4.0 and upgrade Barnes / Pukki to Jimenez

    Whats a better transfer?

    a)Haller -> Jimenez
    b)Coleman -> Slabhead
    c)Heaton -> any other 4.5 keeper

            I was keeping him for these fixtures, but actually dont think he'll do much. Sheffield are very solid and i dont see him getting more than 1 goal vs Newcastle if any
