Kelly and Guaita start for injury-hit Palace

The key Fantasy Premier League assets all start for Crystal Palace against Brighton.

Wilfried Zaha (£6.7m), Martin Kelly (£4.3m) and Vicente Guaita (£5.1m) have all survived a recent wave of injuries.

Roy Hodgson is without Patrick van Aanholt (£5.5m), Joel Ward (£4.4m) and Jeffrey Schlupp (£5.5m) through injury while Mamadou Sakho (£5.0m) is serving the second of a three-match suspension.

However, Andros Townsend (£5.6m) and Gary Cahill (£4.5m) are missing from the team.

Meanwhile, Neal Maupay (£5.8m) starts up-front for Brighton while Yves Bissouma (£5.0m) gets a rare appearance in central midfield.

Crystal Palace XI: Guaita; Riedewald, Dann, Tomkins, M Kelly; McArthur, Milivojevic, Kouyaté; Zaha, Benteke, Ayew.

      can you tell me if you think that? If it was last week and fixtures were as it is then maybe, but Jimenezfixture turns badly after Norwich, Abrahams is decent albeit a little mixed. Mount to Grealish for free maybe but if you are not keen on playing Mount why just play Kelly? I don´t Think Grealish will outscore Mount or Kelly by -4.. And you ahve also a very good front 8, so seems silly to take a hit. Next week perhaps, but then you face benching Zaha or Ings, probably in same boat myself, but not for a hit.

    Dunno how to get Mane to the team after this blank gw.
    Only way to get Mane or Salah in for Maddison, would be downgrading both Pool assets and then upgrade Maddison.
    Does not seem worth it.

    Thinking about Maddison -> Richarlison, any ideas?

      easy, Rashford and one of your Liv def, but not sure which you shall take out, damn that´s a good midfield four, i have Zaha in the Maddy slot with 1.2itb, but Grealish instead of Cantwell as fifth.

      But ye, Rashford is the one out, tough fixtures ahead, wait for Arsenal in gw21. Ings worst fixture in that run is Chelsea away and i don´t think away to Chelsea is hard for attackers and better than Rasfords next three.

        I dont think Rashford is going anywhere. After Vardy he is best fpl assett at the moment.
        Abraham could be going tho, because Chelsea show clear regression.

          No, Chelsea does not show clear regression, but inconsistency. United plays consistently bad against deep and low defenses, all of which are teams in next 3. paying 9m for pens and thunderstrikes seems expensive. In the run he had there was either top teams they could counter on or naive defenses with more playing teams like Norwich/Brighton. That suits both rashford and the united team, Watford/New/Burnley won´t play like that.

          Tammy has scored in 2 of his last 4, Valencia game included. They had one bad game vs Bou, were not up to it against Everton but that was als strange circumstances with Everton just releasing Silva, good game vs Valencia and Villa home was decent/good.

          To get Salah/mané Rashford is the one to go as Abraham offers almost the same for 1m less and to get there yo uwill need that 1m. Unless you are willing to ship either Son or KDB but i guess that´s not in your mind?

    Morning dzzz, Planning to WC in gw20 but have 2FTs and 0.2m itb. ideas on best moves till then?

    1) As I have 3 transfers till I WC, which players would you move? I am currently leaning on taking Mane, Pulisic, Ings (in gw19).

    2) Worth using one of the Ft on removing a defender? ie Lascelles (might price drop before I reach WC) or Taa (to raise funds)

    3) Suggestions on what moves to make? Currently leaning to Mane/Pulisic >> Sterling/Grealish and keep funds itb to do Ings >> Tammy in gw19

      CS i would think Kelly, but attacking wise perhaps someone else, like Targett, but doubt Villa would keep more than one cs while Palace could get 2. Not looked at stats but i watched the game last night and Kelly was very restricted going forward before they conceded but had some attempted assists and from a tight angle he had a decent shot that went outside, and he is as a CB a danger on set pieces. Targett more exciting to own i guess, at same time he is injury prone and Taylor is a decent, albeit a more defensive minded back up who could fill in when schedule are tight, which it will be. United defender at 5.3 is a bit more chunky but fixtures seems decent for cs, Aurier, Dunk with at least one good one, Femenia with presumably a tough one vs United but then SHu away. Baines if Digne is out for some weeks could be in for a shout at 4.9, set pieces and possibly pens, Arsenal looks like a red but home and Arsenal are not free scoring. Newcastle with palace which is good, United away, fernandez goal from a set piece?

            With those 3 fixttres from 26th to new year he might, but as we´ve seen odd things can happen like that 19 pointer in the weekend, while it was a good fixture nobody could have foreseen that, and a 19 pointer in a certain period scale like 3 gameweeks will skew things a bit, While Spurs ahve good fixture on paper, it does not correlate with Alli scoring high, it could be other ones, and while City´s next 2 looks tough, Leicester home could be a high scoring game, Liverpool won 2-1 at Anfield and that was flattering, could have been 4-0. Wolves have had a tight schedule and City could take advantage of that, you never know. City are so far behind now that Pep probably given up and that is probably something that take some burden off their shoulders, seems to play more freely in the last few games (even United game in which United could have scored 4, but so could City have done).

            My point; just don´t look at fixtures and assume that 2 players which you must consider on their own merits by the way, to score accordingly to fixture ticker. Example, City had a spell from gw7 or 8 where Liverpool supposedly had a tough run, Mané outscored Sterling in that time.

      Southampton really can´t defend and their right hand side is exceptionally weak, and that´s where Grealish plays..

      One of Alli, Son or Tammy will prob get a low score but difficult to pick out whom,but lowest ceiling is Maddy and Rash. Mddy could get an assist to Vardy, Rash could fire in a wonderstrke or get a pen, but chances are low he wil get both in one game-)

    I think now is the right time to get rid of Maddison for Grealish.

    Got him at 7.4, selling price now 7.6.

    Only issue is the threat of suspension.

      One of my mistakes this season was selling Maddison when bought at 7.1, if he played in one of the other top teams he would be 8-9m worth, even more. Sold for Son so points wise been good, but damn. Hopefully he stays at his price now, until after Liverpool, he might come in again.

      If you are happy with selling for profit and then buy back he will still be cheaper than he ought to be. In half the minutes of last year he has managed 5g5a vs 7g7a last year. if he keeps up and chances for that is high, he will end up on double digit both in goals and assists and he is bps monster so points tally could be around 200. Not to shabby for a 7m midfielder
