Kelly and Guaita start for injury-hit Palace

The key Fantasy Premier League assets all start for Crystal Palace against Brighton.

Wilfried Zaha (£6.7m), Martin Kelly (£4.3m) and Vicente Guaita (£5.1m) have all survived a recent wave of injuries.

Roy Hodgson is without Patrick van Aanholt (£5.5m), Joel Ward (£4.4m) and Jeffrey Schlupp (£5.5m) through injury while Mamadou Sakho (£5.0m) is serving the second of a three-match suspension.

However, Andros Townsend (£5.6m) and Gary Cahill (£4.5m) are missing from the team.

Meanwhile, Neal Maupay (£5.8m) starts up-front for Brighton while Yves Bissouma (£5.0m) gets a rare appearance in central midfield.

Crystal Palace XI: Guaita; Riedewald, Dann, Tomkins, M Kelly; McArthur, Milivojevic, Kouyaté; Zaha, Benteke, Ayew.

    Fixtures:

    LEI, wol, SHU, EVE, avl, CRY, shu

    Pros:
    1. Good for bonus when City keep a CS
    2. Big goal threat from set pieces - He has the second highest goals per minute ratios of all defenders that have played a significant (800 +) amount of minutes.
    3. City possibly over their rough patch?
    4. Decent run of games after Leicester.
    5. Nice timing for those jumping off Liverpool assets due to the blank

    Cons:
    1. We've been here before, it didn't end too well
    2. Is he nailed on?
    3. City have struggled for CS so far (who hasn't though?)
    4. Cheaper players such as Rico, Kelly probably better value (but high ownership)

    Opinion:

    I like it, not many defenders come with a goal threat like his, With City surely its only a matter of time before they click back into gear (signs maybe already). I also think he has a chance to hold off Stones who has been extremely poor and Pep appeared visibly upset with him in the game against Man United. If they can put a run of CS together i think he stays. 5m makes him a fairly low risk punt imo.

          The only thing making me hesitate is there following two fixtures City and Liverpool. Although Wolves are usually good against harder opponents the double up might be a little too much .
          Could get Jota in then move Jimenez the week after.

      Sold Ota for Rico which has gone someway to funding Alli coming in. I'm doing Mane>Mr Punty this week whoever that ends up being, then will prob bring Salah back. My team is ticking nicely and with only 0.2 ITB my hands are tied even with 2 FTs and a wildcard! Don't want to mess things up!

      Had him for his 15-pointer think it was but then he didn't play for me for ages so a bit bruised from that experience. Could do it again though. Security of starts the big one. Pep kept playing him in CL and ditching him for PL

      I'm looking at defensive resilience. At the expense of attacking, Palace and Bournemouth are doing great jobs at organising their patched-up defenses. In addition, Pearson's Watford defended magnificently, rather overlooked in their comically hapless finishing. I can see a Watford cleanie and naff all to Rashford on Saturday.
