Leicester and Liverpool at full-strength for final Boxing Day game

Leicester and Liverpool have both named full-strength sides as the 2019 Boxing Day extravaganza comes to a close.

The King Power Stadium clash could prove a highly decisive one in this season’s title race and it’s clear each manager, Brendan Rodgers and Jurgen Klopp are taking it seriously.

Jamie Vardy (£10.1m) naturally leads Leicester’s line supported by James Maddison (£7.8m), Youri Tielemans (£6.5m), Harvey Barnes (£5.9m) and Dennis Praet (£5.3m) in midfield.

As ever, the settled back-four of Ben Chilwell (£5.8m), Çaglar Söyüncü (£5.1m), Jonny Evans (£5.2m) and Ricardo Pereira (£6.5m) all keep their places.

Liverpool’s potent front-three of Mohamed Salah (£12.2m), Sadio Mané (£12.2m) and Roberto Firmino (£9.2m) are all involved.

Meanwhile, both Andrew Robertson (£7.0m) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.2m) start in defence.

Leicester City XI: Schmeichel; Chilwell, Söyüncü, Evans, R Pereira; Ndidi, Praet; Maddison, Tielemans, H Barnes; Vardy.

Liverpool XI: Alisson; Robertson, van Dijk, Gomez, Alexander-Arnold; Keïta, Wijnaldum, Henderson; Mané, Firmino, Salah.

      Put one on a plate for Mane, was there had Firmino not been ; did seem to pull up a couple of chases so fatigued a bit. Klopp wise to pull him for Sunday.

        The modern game, wing backs are preferred to be more attacking than otherwise. I would rather have an attacking wing back than a defensive one(which is literally a full back)

      For example Vardy is owned by each and everyone by Top 10 but no one captained him then we will say Vardy's EO in Top 10k is 100%. If half of them also captained him then it will be 150%. And similarly 200% if everyone captained him too.

    Fpl aside (non taa owner), this is the most one sided premier league season ever. Liverpool deserve it. Congrats to Liverpool. Hopefully man City and Co. Can challenge next year.
    Hopefully Leicester stay in the top 4.
    An absolute joke that a Liverpool player like mane or vvd didn't win ballon d or. Won cl and most dominant pl season and ever.

    That Son red card had much worse consequences than I could have imagined. Replaced him with Salah and reluctantly sacrificed TAA to fund the transfer, despite the fact I've always considered him a season keeper.

    Don't understand why taa was given the assist for a handball penalty. It was not a shot on target. Assists should not be given if a handball is involved.
