We’ve reached the semi-finals of our FFS Cup following the completion of Gameweek 35+ and £300-worth of prizes will be on the line over the next two Gameweeks.

The last four of this competition will take place in Gameweek 36+, the deadline for which is at 19:15 BST today.

ALL RESULTS FROM THE QUARTER-FINALS CAN BE VIEWED HERE
THE FULL DRAW FOR THE SEMI-FINALS IS AVAILABLE TO VIEW HERE

The run of former winner Wild Rover came to an end in Gameweek 35+, with the one-time champion defeated 52-40 by Manisaspor.

Powell came out on top in his all-top 5k clash with graslauk, with his 88 points lifting him inside the top 500 in FPL.

Sharpey saw off Bencaraway 51-42 to reach the last four, while Joax2 climbed into the top 10,000 with a 60-54 victory over White Russian FC.

Three of our four semi-finalists are inside the top 10k, indeed.

Powell will now take on Sharpey for a place in the Gameweek 37+ final, with Mansiaspor going up against Joax2.

HOW DO THE CUP COMPETITIONS WORK?

The FFS Cup is very similar to the Fantasy Premier League’s own cup game.

Entrants who qualify for the first round were randomly drawn against each other and the winner of the tie is whoever has the highest score from that Gameweek, minus points spent on transfers (like in the original game and in head-to-head scores).

In the event of a draw, the manager highest in the overall FPL rankings after the tie will progress.

WHAT IS THE GAMEWEEK SCHEDULE?

The FFS Cup competition will be played out according to the following proposed Gameweek schedule:

Fantasy Football Scout Cup Round Dates
Qualifying – Gameweek 28

Round 1 – Gameweek 29
Round 2 – Gameweek 30+
Round 3 – Gameweek 31+
Round 4 – Gameweek 32+
Round 5 – Gameweek 33+
Round 6 – Gameweek 34+
Quarter-Final – Gameweek 35+
Semi-Finals – Gameweek 36+
Final and third-place play-off – Gameweek 37+

WHEN ARE THE FIXTURES RELEASED?

Where possible, the fixture list for each round will be published before each Gameweek deadline.

Mourinho on the availability of Aurier: "We are going to respect Serge's decision - no pressure from us. This PM after training we'll have a better idea of how he is feeling. Everybody reacts in a different way. Similar feelings and pain but people react [differently]." #COYS

Should I keep him and if he doesn't play Holgate will come in for him?

Everton were awful defensively against Soton & Wolves.
Maybe if Aurier starrts he could put on a good performance.
Otherwise I expect him to fully miss out and Holgate will come in.

Has Foden played any minutes on AMR position? Think this would be key to the City lineup. If Foden nails that AML position it's Jesus/Sterling for ST and Bilva/Mahrez for AMR.

Not so sure taking KDB out is so wise unless chasing. He may still get minutes, penalty etc and you will want him back after. That's two transfers down the drain.

    Pep Mega Quotes post:

GUARDIOLA: I'M PROUD OF RAHEEM STERLING.

Pep Guardiola says he is proud of Raheem Sterling’s enormous impact both on and off the pitch this season.

“The big athletes contribute to society and Raheem is doing a lot to make things better around the world,” said Guardiola.

“I am proud of him and support him 100%.

Pep Guardiola says it is important that Manchester City’s wingers score goals after Raheem Sterling hit his third hat-trick of the season in the 5-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion.

Pep Guardiola says it is important that Manchester City’s wingers score goals after Raheem Sterling hit his third hat-trick of the season in the 5-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion.

“He knows exactly what he has to do,” the boss said at his post-match press conference.

“He is a huge competitor. Self-confident, aggressive. He loves to score goals. We have wingers who score goals. This is so important.

“All the credit is for him,” Pep added.

“Not just for the three goals, but they are important for what we have ahead of us.

“For his development as a player, because he wants to improve. We are delighted with his performance today.”

Guardiola has regularly rotated his squad since the Premier League restarted, making several changes for each game and he intends to do so again when the Cherries visit the Etihad Stadium,

However, he says his selection will not be influenced by the Wembley showdown with the Gunners three days later.

“No,” he said, when asked if it will affect his decision on Wednesday.

“We played one team against Newcastle, today another one. A new four or five or six players will play against Bournemouth.

“Against Arsenal I will select what is best for the team.”

Sterling is 4 goals from century for City. I bet he will get the century till the end of the season. I am getting him in. Probably a Captain too. Those quotes from Pep are encouraging. I think Mahrez and KDB are going the be benched.

What you think reading all those quotes from Pep?

P.S. All quotes are taken from the Man City official website
