Fantasy Premier League managers face a difficult choice for the Blank Gameweek 18 captaincy.

Even before Monday’s fixture rearrangements for Spurs, Fulham and Aston Villa, differentiating between Kevin De Bruyne (£11.7m) and Bruno Fernandes (£11.3m) was proving challenging for many.

Now that Harry Kane (£11.0m) and Son Heung-min (£9.8m) have been handed a favourable home fixture against underprepared opposition the debate has been thrown wide open.

More than ever, Fantasy managers need some help with the armband, which is where the Captain Sensible article comes in.

      The FH looks like it's worth 10 points to you without any returns. Wilson, Laca, Rashford, Leno and Saiss could easily give you another 10-15 on top of that.

          I'm in a similar spot. Could get to 6 players with a -4 (one of which will be Lowton) so FH makes a lot of sense. Not hitting the button until tomorrow though.

      I have almost the same, just Dias instead of Cancelo. No way am I FH-ing now -I was even considering rolling with just 5 for a hit if the Spurs game was off.

      For what it's worth the FFix projection thinks I'll get 44 points with those 6, with Cancelo yours will probably be higher. Save it.

    Was planning to carry 11 players into gw18 now I'm down to 8.

    Have 1 FT and 1.1 itb.

    Did want to carry this over as I could make 2-3 changes for dgw19. Now my team looks a bit light and feel I need to make the change now.

    Would prefer to bring in a player that I'd play for gw18 and gw19. Should I:

    A - KWP to AWB
    B - DCL to Laca
    C - other
    D - hold my transfer and go with 8 players

        Apologies wrong post. Good team but not sure on lascelles and Mahrez pick. If you are going to gamble on the 3rs city spot, I prefer Foden. You can use the funds to bring in Tierney. I can't see Newcastle keeping a CS against SHU

      There will always be a high degree of commonality with FH teams. It’s just the way it is, particularly in a reduced gameweek.

      It’s not necessarily a bad thing IMO. You are competing against future FHers as much as you are against fellow FHers this week.

          It’s a tricky call and the recent news has made my gw18 team even worse than it was looking before. I had been leaning towards trying to get away with a 8 point hit but now am strongly considering a FH. The thing is my hits improve my GW19 team too, so if I FH I actually weaken my DGW19 team too..

          Luckily I am having a shocking season so not that bothered, otherwise this season’s randomness would be very vexing.

    If 2 or more of Martinez Taylor DCL are out for GW19 then there is no chance I'm BB despite being my plan at the start. I think I will just maximise my BB potential with a mix of DGW and single gw players in GW26 cause I will WC one week before and I will go inshallah for the blank gw 29
