Fantasy Premier League managers face a difficult choice for the Blank Gameweek 18 captaincy.

Even before Monday’s fixture rearrangements for Spurs, Fulham and Aston Villa, differentiating between Kevin De Bruyne (£11.7m) and Bruno Fernandes (£11.3m) was proving challenging for many.

Now that Harry Kane (£11.0m) and Son Heung-min (£9.8m) have been handed a favourable home fixture against underprepared opposition the debate has been thrown wide open.

More than ever, Fantasy managers need some help with the armband, which is where the Captain Sensible article comes in.

      If you want players for both weeks together, then I'd go for the Manchester teams, so that's Jesus and Martial. People are concerned about Martial rotation with Cavani, but he's still a good bet imo. Aguero is currently isolating. I have no idea for how long.

      Looks perfect for a FH to me.

      Am probably WC'ing this GW, and the only ones from those teams I am considering on the WC before BB'ing in DGW26 is:

      Wilson
      Areola
      Bamford
      AWB
      Bruno
      Rashford

      Those 6 won't be in my BB DGW26 team. I would probably have something like 2-3 of those for DGW26

      I've always thought the more blank and crap the gw the more use is the FH as you don't then need to keep dross going forwards.

        That's why I don't see the point in FH'ing this GW.
        All the WC'ers and all using between 2 and 6 transfers will get the likes of Cancelo/Stones/Dias, KDB, Kane/Son, Tierney/AWB and so on.

        Those without a FH in BGW29 would have to transfer in the likes of Richarlison, Sigurdsson and such just to be able to field a 7 players.

        And those with the WC left to play would not use it to cover BGW29 with those teams playing.

    So been planning for this game week for six weeks. At one point I had twelve but due to Bissoma being a dirty git, Villa being called off and DCL getting injured down to eight.

    DCL seems a long term one so I am thinking might take a hit of -4 to get someone in. Ideally need a starter this week and have Wilson and Kane already. For £8.9m or less who would you be going for?

    Pages are flying a bit at the moment, so I decided to instead spend 10mins just writing down which teams and players I am actually considering for my FH. I have ranked the teams top to bottom in terms of ease of fixture and then ranked the players for each team first to last.

    TOT - Kane, Son, Dier, Lloris
    MCY - KDB, Cancelo, Dias, Stones
    ARS - Laca, Tierney, Saka, Leno
    MAN - Fernandes, Rashford, Maguire, AWB

    Starting with Kane then KDB then laca etc... This is the best team I could come up with in my budget

    KDB | Fernandes | Son | Rashford | Saka
    Kane | Laca

    I would suggest giving it a go as you are probably going to pick about 10 of the 16 players listed above
