With Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£8.2m) set for a spell on the sidelines and a ban ruling Michail Antonio (£7.9m) out of Gameweek 5, many Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers are unexpectedly in the market for a new forward.
At the time of writing, the pair are the two most-sold forwards in FPL, but should we be selling them, and if so, who are the best replacements?

Would you guys prioritise getting Jota in over Bamford/Jimmy? How does Tsimikas and Benny to Marcal and Jota for a hit sound?
Sounds decent but you will looking to move Jota on in 3 weeks so requires another transfer. Essentially 3 transfers to have Jota for 2/3 weeks. If you can get Bamford or Raphinha in without a hit then I would do that
I’m considering Ben > Raph for -4 as I think it’s worth it long term (including a potential .2 price swing)
Hi Carlton. I think with the upside Jota has, it could be worth the hit. And with upside I also mean the potential of being nailed/first choice moving on, especially in games against teams outside big 6 especially. I can see Klopp preferring Bobby in games like Chelsea/City/United etc, and in CL, and Jota being the first choice in most PL games.
I agree Ben to Raph for a hit will pay off long term. I already have Raph in my team. I do have the option to get Bam in for Toney for free, but I don’t think Leeds warrant a double up right now, and I also think Bam has looked quite poor.
I would go with Jota 1st out of them

True. Jota is quite frustrating to own sometimes, and I agree he has more to show to deserve his big hype.
Mane wasting Jota assists etc is not helping, Jota is a due a double digit return

Chelsea + city defence. Jota/Torres/greenwood/Benrahma will be rotated heavily by then. Will be clearer if ‘the big three’ is the way to go (personally I don’t think it is)

Not sure on Watkins but i'm definitely eyeing the same move. Half of me tells hold, bench, play Williams and roll the transfer. The other half of me tells me im not that bothered in Antonio till 8.
I’ve benched Antonio. Had him from gw1 and want him for Leeds + BRE fixtures…after that I’m unsure. Didn’t want to pay .2 more for him on WC

One of the better triple premium teams I have seen tbh, haven't really liked the look of most.
It's a fantastic 11 but I worry about so much fodder

Leeds have been poor. But the teams they’ve played are all in the top 4. Fixtures get better, Raphinha will shine no doubt.

B. It’s essentially a -2 as sissoko should get 2 points. Then you’re set up with 3 good strikers and not 3-5-2/4-4-2

I have 4 transfers I wish to make over the next 4 GWs. They are:

My question is two fold:
1) is Lukaku that important?
2) In what order would you do it (Lukaku would be last as the others have to come into afford him)
1 - yes, it will be between Lukaku and Ronaldo for highest points scorer in the forward table.
2. Lukaku's price is only going to go up.
Hmmm. And DCL will go down. Not worth a -12 to do it now though. Will just have to play the long game.
Lukaku is important from gw7 onwards. Probably until gw14/15 when switching to Ronaldo would be wise. Having Lukaku and Ronaldo at the same time is not worth going without two of DCL/Antonio/Bamford. Especially considering the fixture runs that they have

Personally, I don’t rate him or Leeds. I can’t get him. He just looks meh.
Antonio is very explosive so doubt Bamford will outscore him on current form.

id go with bruno to pogba/greenwood who offer good value and put the money into bamford if you're running with such a week bench. seems crazy not to own one of bamford or raphinha

B. A but instead of Jota someone cheaper so funds ready to spend elsewhere e.g Raphinha (albeit not that sold on him), Gallagher (not good next fixture but looks great for the price) or someone else
C. No transfers, and play 5-4-1 formation this week, but can keep Antonio that way with plan of Ronaldo > Lukaku in GW7

Greenwood didn't play today, which suggests he does play this weekend. Wouldn't pay a hit to take him out when he's probably about to start, and has returned every game this season.
