Who are the best FPL captain options for Gameweek 7?

Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers are looking to Chelsea, Manchester United and West Ham United for the Gameweek 7 captaincy, and as per usual, the Captain Sensible article is here to highlight which assets have the best chance of hauling.

First, we will assess the fallout of the Gameweek 7 Captain Poll, before then analysing the best options, Rate My Team (RMT) and the Premier Fantasy Tools ratings ahead of Saturday’s 11:00 BST deadline.

THE CAPTAIN POLL

Romelu Lukaku (£11.7m) leads the captain poll so far, having gained just under half of total votes from our users at the time of writing.

Second-placed Cristiano Ronaldo (£12.7m) has received 24.01% of votes ahead of his home match against Everton.

Michail Antonio (£8.0m) occupies third-place with 7.49%, with the top-five list completed by Mohamad Salah (£12.6m) and Bruno Fernandes (£11.9m), with 3.26% and 3.14% respectively.

    I was going to move Shaw to a Chelsea defender and Barnes to Raphina. TAA injury makes this more tricky.

    Any suggestions?

      Yes to minus 4 (effectively a minus 2 worst case scenario) as you could only have 2 DFs starting & definitely WC next week so you can get TAA straight back.

          Who knows. But he's a really good pick for the fixtures after that! And LIV-MCI could be a tight game. Triple Chelsea def is a bit too much, one sneaky goal and your defence is destroyed. But if you want to take a higher risk strategy and do the triple Chelsea def with the plan of moving one out for Cancelo/Dias in 8, follow your guts 😉

      Performing well but definitely not nailed. Still good value with those fixtures at that price though I think. Unlikely to come off the bench for a cameo which helps also

    I have R. James and TAA. Rest of the defense is Semedo Marcal and Livramento. The plan is to move one of the Wolves guys to Cancelo in GW 8. What do you reckon for this GW guys:

    A) Keep R. James and hope my 3 defenders play (Livramento away to Chelsea)
    B) James -> Cancelo now for a -4
    C) James -> Another Chelsea def and do the Cancelo move in 8 as planned.

    I was going to use my FT now to do Ronaldo or Lukaku (both of whom I will be shipping from next week) to Vardy.

    Just think it is better to have 2 FT's over the IB in case any injuries before GW8.

    I look at ARS fixtures and I'm not actually convinced, like many.

    BHA away is tough.
    Palace is getting better by the day and Vieira homecoming might spoil the party
    AVL is a tough nut to crack
    Lei is enigmatic atm, but surely will turn around at one time
    Only WAT looks promising

    Slim victories against nor and bur don't boost confidence, and NLD is not a good indicator actually - form book goes out if the window.

    I'd still keep my Benrahma, Gray or even Sarr if I WC this or next week.

      That is why I have not jumped onto the Arsenal train.

      I am also still skipping Wolves assets, have not owned any so far. Leeds assets as well although I have owned Bamford and Raphina, no longer do though.

      These 3 teams are not 'there yet' for me to consider tbh.

          Barnes should turn the corner. Leicester had massive injury problems to start off with and now with pretty much a fully fit squad, they will start turning up the heat IMO. Vardy is in for me from GW8.

      I totally agree, thats why I didnt include them on that potential WC.

      I've decided btw mate. Dont think Thiago Silva can play 3 games in a week so reckon Azpi's nailed to start either RWB or RCB. Done TAA > Azpi and not WC'ing this week.
