Gameweek 16 gets underway this evening as Brentford play host to Watford, with Fantasy interest mostly centred around the attacking players on show.

Kick-off is at 20:00 GMT.

Brentford, who have won just once in eight Premier League games, are without Ethan Pinnock (£4.6m) because he has tested positive for Covid-19, plus Sergi Canos (£5.5m) who is suspended.

As a result, Mathias Jensen (£4.9m) and Yoane Wissa (£5.9m) come into the starting XI, with the latter expected to partner Bryan Mbeumo (£5.5m) up front in Thomas Frank’s 3-5-2 formation.

Elsewhere, Ivan Toney (£6.6m) misses a second successive match, also with Covid-19.

As for Watford, Claudio Ranieri makes three changes from the 3-1 defeat to Manchester City in Gameweek 15, with Jeremy Ngakia (£4.3m), Juraj Kucka (£5.5m) and Cucho Hernandez (£5.0m) replacing Danny Rose (£4.2m), Imran Louza (£5.2m) and Joao Pedro (£5.4m), all of whom drop to the bench.

That means Emmanuel Dennis (£5.7m) and Josh King (£5.8m) both feature in attack once again, with their Fantasy Premier League (FPL) ownerships now sitting at 29.6% and 7.9% respectively.

It needs to be a number 2^x, this year it's 2^22 (8´388´608) so that in the end there are two teams left. But this year that's almost all teams.

New teams will start with only £100M, so some players would be out of reach.
Most teams set up from GW1 have a budget of £105-106M

        • 11 Years

Right, but this way someone could set up X different teams to try to win the cup.. like those that try to win single GWs with fresh teams

      Casual eh?

I've been playing this for 12 seasons, have finished in the top 10k on a couple of occasions, and inside the top 100k many.

      I picked and played Dennis.

        It's not a casual move.

Pages are flying, apologies for asking again.

Looking for information about the Manchester United defense. I have little idea about their squad and would like to have some help here to understand their squad formation. What I could find is that they have the following players:

    Left back: Telles, Shaw
Right back: Wan-Bissaka, Dalot, (Lindelof), (Jones)
Center back: Maguire, Lindelof , Varane, Bailly, Jones

    1) What is the preferred formation in their defense?
    2) Who are the first team players, **assuming everyone is fit**?
    3) Who is the most nailed defender?
    4) The "injury" page on this website shows that Varane and Wan-Bissaka are injured but they are close to return. Is there any extra injury information?
    5) Who, according to your opinion, is the best FPL asset and why?

    4. Bennerman
      • 7 Years

      Almost always a flat back-four, occasionally wing-backs.

First choice when all fit is traditionally AWB, Varane, Maguire, Shaw.

However, injuries (and, to an extent, loss of form in the case of AWB) mean that Dalot, Lindelof and Telles have been playing in recent games. Lindelof, also, is probably someone who will get some games even when first choice CB pairing is fit (as in, he's next in line, then Bailly).

Maguire is properly nailed, the most nailed of all.

In my opinon, best option would be Shaw once fit and confirmed back in his left-back place ahead of Telles (shouldn't be too long). His price is good at the mo and he has attacking threat including taking corners.

      BIG CAVEAT

There is a new manager in place so he will have his own ideas on all of the above (except possibly point 5). So take the info I've given in that important context.

So I've just checked out my cup opponent, not that I can do anything about it now, and their team is:-

    Lloris (C)
    Alonso Pinnock AWB
    Son Torres Pogba Greenwood Jota
    Antonio (V), Ings
    (Raya Marcal DCL Sanchez)

Reckon my chances of reaching the round of 4,194,304 look reasonably OK unless Ant-man has an absolute blinder.
