Four more Gameweek 24 matches take place this evening, with Manchester City v Brentford, Norwich City v Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur v Southampton all kicking off at 19:45 GMT and Aston Villa v Leeds United getting underway a quarter of an hour later.

It’s not often that the headline Fantasy Premier League (FPL) team news comes from Palace but that’s the case tonight, as the most-bought player of Gameweek 24, Odsonne Edouard, finds himself among the substitutes at Carrow Road.

Vicente Guaita, Wilfried Zaha, Joachim Andersen and Will Hughes are brought back into the side as Patrick Vieira makes four changes from the weekend win over Hartlepool United.

Angus Gunn, Max Aarons and Teemu Pukki are back in the Norwich City XI in Dean Smith’s three alterations from Saturday, with Josh Sargent missing out through illness.

The omission of Kyle Walker is the only real surprise in Pep Guardiola’s line-up.

The City boss makes five changes to the side that beat Fulham in the FA Cup on Saturday, with Ruben Dias, Aymeric Laporte, Rodri, Bernardo Silva and Raheem Sterling replacing Walker, Nathan Ake, Fernandinho, Ilkay Gundogan and Jack Grealish.

Ivan Toney misses out with a calf injury for Brentford and he is one of three changes to the side that were beaten by Everton on Saturday. Ethan Pinnock, Frank Onyeka and Saman Ghoddos come in, as Mads Bech Sorensen and Vitaly Janelt also make way.

It’s straightforward team news from Villa Park, where both sides are unchanged from their last matches in Gameweek 23. That means a start for Raphinha, who had been flagged going into this contest.

In keeping with that theme, Antonio Conte sticks with the same Spurs side that beat Brighton in the FA Cup on Saturday – so that means new signings Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski have to be content with places on the bench.

Opponents Southampton make 10 changes to the side that beat Coventry at the weekend, with only the indefatigable James Ward-Prowse keeping his place.

There’s good news regarding Armando Broja, who recovers from a knee problem to feature, but there’s no Tino Livramento, who lasted 90 minutes on his comeback from injury on Saturday.

Broja as value for money has to be the best. As for a other two I’m not sure I pick two! Every time I think Kane is turning a corner…..

Forwards are woeful. No real value. I’ve gone cheap. ASM with Newcastle’s revival, Broja and Dennis. Concerned about the latter now Hogdson is there so I’m thinking the Norwich boy to enable funds. Wouldn’t touch the premiums.

I have both and going with Raph. Everton are the pits, Raph loves a goal against them, and I have Bowen so don't need the WHU double up.

    Ramsdale Sanchez

Bruno (Salah 26) Raphinha Saka Bowen Martinelli
    Kane ??? Broja

    3 DGW 25
    10 DGW26

Shaw looked decent last night too. Dalot much more suited to Uniteds style than AWB so good chance for both.

It depends what you want to do really. I'm changing 7, ensuring I can set up for DGW26, but going for two with doubles next week and then moving them to 2 I want for GW26 with one hit and using BB. With this I'm moving out a few players I really don't want, a few that I'm using for long-term punts and moving in Kane so it changes the structure slightly. I'd argue it wouldn't be bad for you, you could argue your whole front line could go, as well as Maddison, Dier, bench keeper and maybe Jota even with Mane back soon and Diaz there now. You could get Salah in, get in a good few with doubles for DGW26 or even do something similar to me (set the rest of the team up with decent options and good few with doubles, but bring in Bruno and a Brighton player for next week first and then get rid immediately after).

Thanks mate, agree.. I do want to change them and could wc this week setting up for the dgw and avoiding hits this week. Definitely food for thought.. although Watford dgw coming half persuading me to keep Dennis and king for now. Maddy going this week either way I think, for either Salah or Bruno

I am trying to avoid using one FH in 27 and even take a hit to avoid it. The rest of the plan is the same but some weeks will have blanks and doubles and that second FH could be ideal for then.

He was a good option this week. Reguilon missed sitter assisted by Kane, Kane header from point blank range somehow bounces off the turf and onto the bar. Those go in and you're getting a huge haul, the margins are rough

KDB does not get points against Norwich just because he looks like Zinchenko you know.

Coutinho (C) here made up for the fact of missing the deadline and playing with only 10 players with no bench

DCL, Gray and Royal -> Ronaldo, Pogba and Shaw (-4) ?

Gonna FH in GW26 and 30.
This makes GW25, 26 and 27 looks good, and will swap out Ronaldo and Pogba to bring back Salah in GW28.

    Sanchez
    TAA - Cancelo - Shaw
    Jota - Pogba - Maddison - Bowen - Ramsey
    Kane - Ronaldo

    (Foster, King, Coufal, Lowton)

Average for top 10k is 41.3 with 3.3 players left to play so well above average
