Last month we brought you news of the long-overdue addition of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) points to our Premium Members Area, as well as a new filter that allows users to block certain kinds of content.

We’ve got some more tweaks and developments to reveal now and it’s all thanks to the ongoing hard work of matzi11a and TopMarx behind the scenes.

Remember, if you’d like to ‘try before you buy’ with this or any other feature of the Premium Members Area, we continue to offer a free trial.

  • Attacking Returns column added to ‘Fantasy Stats’ (for midfielders, forwards, all players and all outfield players)
  • Returns column added for goalkeepers and defenders (returns = goals + assists + clean sheets + penalty saves)
  • Column for ‘Assists’ updated to Opta Assists (this plus Fantasy Assists, which covers things like shot rebounds and penalty awards, gives Total Assists)
  • Non-Penalty Goals and Non-Penalty Goal Involvement added to the ‘Expected’ tab
  • In the ‘Set Pieces’ tab, Crosses From Free Kick and Successful Crosses (Free Kick) are added to ‘Assist Potential’
More new additions to the FFScout Premium Members Area
  • Double-Digit Hauls added to ‘Fantasy Stats’

Keep your eyes peeled for more developments in the coming days and weeks, including:

  • Player ‘Blanks’ will be added to ‘Fantasy Stats’
  • ICT Influence, Creativity, Threat and Index will be added to ‘KPI Attacking’
  • A ‘Minimum Appearances’ Filter will be added to ‘Filter Stats By:’ in Player Stats
  • A revamp of the ‘BPS Plus’ and ‘BPS Minus’ tabs so that managers can clearly see how a player’s BPS score is broken down

FPL points predictions for Gameweek 3 and beyond 3

Long took a bit of a knock first half, 5 subs allowed allows early changes.

      Broja won the pen, yes.

Not satire, nor hatred, just questioning whether the moves that are being made in other sports/games etc are being suggested for FPL.

        1. Qaiss
          • 9 Years

What would it do? FPL is a free game, taking it away from Russians is not something that would make the Russian government think twice about attacking Ukraine is it? And most Russian people seem to want nothing to do with this war.

        2. artvandelay316
          • 4 Years

The moves being made in other sports are made against the Russian Federation to prevent them from competing and being represented. FPL is an optional game from private citizens to opt in to. They do not represent anyone but themselves as individuals.

I don't think we should stoop the level of dirty politicians and help with their games. The people of Russia are just like us (I'm talking about most common decent folk, not the bad eggs we have in ALL society). This is how division takes place and wars are backed and egged on, by civilians like us swallowing the lie that politicians and the people are one and the same...no, we are most certainly not.

Sport can transcend politics and hatred and so I hope no Russian FPL players are banned at all!

I’m not advocating, I’m simply asking. Morally the whole situation is difficult. You’re right when you say it’s unfair to target people who are not responsible for what’s going on. Sometimes though sport has to be impacted. I can’t see a Ukrainian athlete being keen to compete against a Russian right now.

Think actually it’s a fair question. It was prompted by the Russian team being taken off FIFA 2022

There was no malice in your question at all mate, as far as I can see, to my I read it you were just asking the question (like you FIFA 2022 example).

I think it's (it's my opinion and anyone welcome to go against it) shortsighted to ban the Russian footy team etc because what did they do wrong. Did they vote to go to war? Like all Russians, they had no idea their leader was about to go full tonto. Infact, letting Russian sportspeople play on the international stage would be awesome, because I think most would stand shoulder to shoulder with the West on this issue and make Putin look very small and thus also influence their own domestic opinion. Instead we the west turn our backs on their people...not sitting right with me..it's the damn politicians who have the issues.

I agree with this, even though it seems to be the unpopular view. Most Russians are against this war and you've seen what happens when Russians in Russia try to protest against it, getting locked up as a result. Their government are a disgrace but the Russian people should not be completely isolated from the rest of the world as a result.

            1. Old Bull
              • 12 Years
              3 years, 9 months ago

Not sure how you know most Russian people are against this war. Most Russian people especially older people are anti-West and pro-putin because they feel they’ve been humiliated. The big problem here is how to take a moral stand without hurting the innocent. Politicians on all sides are quick to jump on the bandwagon of sporting success. It would leave a very sour taste in the mouth if we saw Putin revelling in Russian sporting success right now, especially if it was at the expense of Ukraine. I’m not suggesting Russian FPL players should be banned, but given the trend to force their country out into the cold, I wondered whether there had been any suggestion that this might happen. Incidentally, the guy I played in the cup was a Russian Chelsea supporter called Roman, but he had a surname which was different! We tied and I went through on goals scored.
