The third and final Premier League match of the day is a big one from a Fantasy Premier League (FPL) point of view, with interest spiking in Tottenham Hotspur players in the run-up to Gameweek 29.

Spurs are one of just two sides who ‘double’ in the current Gameweek and then have a top-flight fixture going ahead in Blank Gameweek 30, so there was no surprise that four of the most-bought FPL assets of Gameweek 29 are on the Lilywhites’ books.

PlayerTeamTransfers In (GW29)
SakaArsenal844,593
KulusevskiSpurs764,031
DohertySpurs587,595
KaneSpurs560,579
SonSpurs325,512

All the key Spurs targets start this evening as Antonio Conte makes just one change to the side that hammered Everton on Monday.

It’s an enforced one, too, as Sergio Reguilon comes in for the injured Ryan Sessegnon at left wing-back.

There is a bit more explaining to do with the Manchester United teamsheet, which shows five changes from last weekend’s derby.

Bruno Fernandes misses out with illness but goalkeeper David de Gea starts, despite some Covid-related drama earlier in the day.

“Bruno is ill, unfortunately. He couldn’t train yesterday and is therefore not available for the game. Hopefully, he will be back for Tuesday but, today, he is out.

“David had, to start with, a positive Covid test but, in the end, it turned out to be a false test. We did another test after that and it was negative so that is why he can play.” – Ralf Rangnick

Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo are back in the United side after missing the 4-1 defeat to Manchester City.

It was probably 4 in the end as it was a DGW, but it's as much the fact that in hindsight of course using a TC on Andy Carroll was bonkers.

Yeah, that season hurt a lot. We were so close, had the best run in and then didn’t win one of Palace, Wolves, Leicester and Brighton and bottled the Europa league final.

This current team is our best team in about 6 years but if we don’t get it now, we never will. United and Spurs are so poor.

My god are people expecting 15 points from Doc every game? You bought this guy for his attacking potential, and Spurs are not keeping cs. Just this first half, one half chance vintage Doc, and Kane away from a big chance, most likely goal. Thats what you pay 4. 7 for. You have White for cs, Doc is for attacking points.

I mentioned above, but maybe some of you guys dont know this or never looked at it. But ManU is traded on the New York stock exchange, one of very few clubs which is publically traded. I think Juventus is as well?

Basically this is just another way for the Glazers to screw ManU fans, they paint this as an opporutuntiy for fans to partly own the club (lol), but all the Glazers actually do is just use it as another weapon against ManU fans and to make more money.

I find it pretty funny, but I guess sad, that their fans actually buy ManU stock 😀

If they want to come and screw us over at Bristol City by spending over a billion pounds in less than 10 years on the playing squad, we’ll happily take them off Utd’s hands 🙂

The debt would cripple you haha, they bought ManU with loans and then made ManU pay the loans back. Not sure how thats even legal tbh.

They have spent £0.00 on United. In fact, they've taken well over billion out of it.

The transfer money came from fans and sponsors.

United fans have owned shares for a long time, before the Glazers. It was through that the fans were able to stop the Murdoch takeover in the nineties.

But enjoy your fun world mate

Think all listed football club shares have been pretty poor investments from memory

Finally Man Utd fans are happy for 15 mins, I think they will drop back to their caves after the full 90

At the start, less space as the game progresses.

Making great runs but not getting picked up. It feels like one of those games that Son misses out....
