The third and final Premier League match of the day is a big one from a Fantasy Premier League (FPL) point of view, with interest spiking in Tottenham Hotspur players in the run-up to Gameweek 29.

Spurs are one of just two sides who ‘double’ in the current Gameweek and then have a top-flight fixture going ahead in Blank Gameweek 30, so there was no surprise that four of the most-bought FPL assets of Gameweek 29 are on the Lilywhites’ books.

SakaArsenal844,593
KulusevskiSpurs764,031

SonSpurs325,512

All the key Spurs targets start this evening as Antonio Conte makes just one change to the side that hammered Everton on Monday.

It’s an enforced one, too, as Sergio Reguilon comes in for the injured Ryan Sessegnon at left wing-back.

There is a bit more explaining to do with the Manchester United teamsheet, which shows five changes from last weekend’s derby.

Bruno Fernandes misses out with illness but goalkeeper David de Gea starts, despite some Covid-related drama earlier in the day.

“Bruno is ill, unfortunately. He couldn’t train yesterday and is therefore not available for the game. Hopefully, he will be back for Tuesday but, today, he is out.

“David had, to start with, a positive Covid test but, in the end, it turned out to be a false test. We did another test after that and it was negative so that is why he can play.” – Ralf Rangnick

Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo are back in the United side after missing the 4-1 defeat to Manchester City.

Did Hojbjerg actually keep up with Rashford there? Despite Rashford having like half a yard on him?

Is Neville over critical on united?

Just constantly moaning and criticising them on commentary. Can’t remember him doing that to any other team

Think he's trying to imitate Keane, and doing quite badly at it.

Just just a bit strange. I mean united are not great but they are not as bad as Neville is making out

Yeah, they're not consistent is all. I don't think Ragnick is the man for them, but still, as you said, I don't think they're showing anything remotely close to relegation form like Neville paints them to be.

He's trying to be neutral... But it just goes over to being over critical tbh.

Yeah he over compensates to appear unbias, similar to Carragher, before they wet themselves when their team score.

It's like he's hyper-aware of accusations of pro-Utd bias so makes a point of hammering at every opportunity. Does something similar when he mentions his time at Valencia because he knows that's going to be used as a stick to beat him with.

Ex-Man Utd players turned pundits remind me of the last generation of pundits in the 90s who were ex-Liverpool players. They struggle to understand that their former club is the dominant force it was when they played.

£28 million a month in wages outgoing i think.

Barclays bank not willing to carry any credit lines.

Stolen Russian oil money set the tone for all sorts of takeovers of English football club in a game of geo politics ego and manoeuvres.

Yet they all passed the fit and proper test for ownership!

A few years ago maybe. More second tier now when you think of the other world class goalkeepers playing now

        1. TheTinman

Not fashionable anymore because he's not a ball playing giant, but he's pulled off more big saves this season than any of the Tier 1 keepers I reckon. Still, he's no Dubravka.

I've always maintained Utds problem is their CM and CBs. Their spine is awful. Stick Ronaldo in any decent team and he will bang a lot of goals.
