Mark Sutherns and El Fozzie react to the events of Double Gameweek 29 and look ahead to the weekend’s games.

They’ll also be discussing their own team and transfer plans for Blank Gameweek 30.

            Yeah I was almost sold on the move until I noticed that and that's what made me consider Leicester defence instead. But maybe saving is the best bet. Thanks for the input

          ‘if Alonso starts’ is the issue though … there are a few other Chelsea defender I would prefer and holding Alonso cuts off those possibilities unless you are doubling up

          Coady is a very good option and cheap enough to bench from time to time if your squad allows … getting him in when then player you are selling is blanking is the best time for a hit, imho

    After i broke 100k for the first time recently, 2 GWs of brutal retribution since then have crushed the pride, being at the mercy of players i don't own: Kane, James, Ronaldo, and Coutinho.

    Plummeting back toward 200k, my defenders stepped in. I am many weeks into the strategy of abandoning cash in forwards, right in time for Kane to punish me. But the big defense saved me this DGW. Including my GK, the box score at the back is my best of the season: 10, 13, 18, 9, 7. And 159k is much more palatable, and a two red arrow streak stopped cold.

    Mistake not having James, but the goal of finishing inside 100k still is viable.

    What to do? I am relly not happy with my team, but probably there are not many possibilities.

    To transfer a defender in make no sense because propably there will no clean sheet this game week.
    To transfer Salah out make also no sense.
    Only possibility is to transfer Adams -> Toney with the free transfer.

    Or are there also other options?

      I like the Adams to Toney move, your team is fine. That would give you 9 without using a chip. Perfectly acceptable. Scores will be way way down this week.

          Maybe. I was going to FH but i can get 8 or 9 and that won't be too bad this GW. You don't need 11. It's not worth the chip, imo. But that's just my team. Think quality over quantity. I've taken a hit for 8 and I'm ok with it.
