Gameweek 31 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) continues on Sunday with West Ham United v Everton at the London Stadium.

Kick-off is at 14:00 GMT.

David Moyes makes three changes from the 3-1 loss at Tottenham Hotspur in Gameweek 30, with the return of Jarrod Bowen after four games out the headline FPL news.

He replaces Manuel Lanzini, while Ryan Fredericks and Pablo Fornals are also in for Ben Johnson and Arthur Masuaku, as Moyes reverts to a back-four system.

Vladimir Coufal is among the substitues after missing eight matches with a hernia problem.

Frank Lampard, meanwhile, makes five changes from the heavy 4-0 loss at Crystal Palace in the FA Cup.

Vitalii Mykolenko, Donny van de Beek, Alex Iwobi, Demarai Gray and Dominic Calvert-Lewin come in, with Mason Holgate, Seamus Coleman, Andre Gomes, Andros Townsend and Anthony Gordon dropping out.

Allan serves the second game of a three-match ban, Yerry Mina is still unavailable, while Andros Townsend has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

* a late change to Everton’s starting XI – Mason Holgate replaces Donny van de Beek, who picked up an injury in the warm-up.

    Trippier, JWP, Cresswell

3 amazing English free kick takers. JWP is possibly the best free kick taker in the world right now.

Great chance none get in the squad 😀

Trent ain't bad, if on the pitch.

Don’t forget Trent. I feel the English have really mastered this discipline throughout the years.

Very difficult to get him in. Maybe he replaces Grealish. There is a lot of competition in the attacking positions, you can make a case for Maddison, Bowen, Toney (top English goalscorer behind Kane), DCL, Rashford (if he gets form back), Smith-Rowe.

It is a shame as we could use fewer good attackers and use more better defenders (particularly CB). Having to fall back on Mings, Geuhi and Coady isn't great at CB.

Mings was amazing at the Euros. He bossed the group stage before Maguire returned.

He's showed he can handle the pressure on the biggest stage. I know that's something that Southgate rates very highly.

Got to have Walker in there. One of the first names on the team sheet for me in whatever system.

        JWP/Sancho -> Walker/Bowen for me.

Southgate has been at almost every Newcastle match since Trippier arrived and he has been immense.

I wouldn't be shocked at all to see Trippier ahead of both James and Trent.

100% if we play 4 at the back.

Southgate likes his certain favourites and I think Trippier is one

I think you are correct. But I prefer TAA and James as they are very similar players and so if one gets injured at the tournament you have a replacement. They are also creative (including vs some of England's midfielders) so I would rather see England play one of TAA or James and put in an extra DM to cover for them defensively and keep the attack vs defence balance.

          • 10 Years

I think at international level TAA is certainly not good enough for a back 4.

I would take James and Trippier personally.

But it's so close can't be concerned by any of them. Amazing depth in that position!

If you sort defenders by cleansheets on the FPL site there are 10 players with 12 or more so far this season.

Yesterday 1 player was *at least* 0.5 million cheaper than the other nine (now 0.4 as he crazily has only just increased), yet I've seen multiple posts on this site over the season mocking him. Any guesses for who it is?

Inheriting a stadium like Manchester City did is an incredible boost to the clubs financial position.

Sometimes it's noisy but we all know a roof is required in a proper football stadium.

It's like the difference between watching Boca Juniors or River Plate.

James was the high risk, high reward pick. Because he either started and hauled or he was benched (because of CL). In the end, it was the worst of both as he was high risk (benched and came on) low reward (no CS and no attacking points).

This all day long. If people ask a question then the majority answer they get will be the "best" options. If a lesser option ends up scoring more points that doesn't change the original answers validity.
