The 16th and final fixture of Double Gameweek 36 takes place this evening – and what a match it is.

It’s not just local bragging rights on the line as Tottenham Hotspur play host to Arsenal but also a UEFA Champions League qualifying spot.

An Arsenal win secures at least fourth place for the Gunners, while a draw leaves them firmly in the driving seat. A Spurs victory, however, not only keeps things interesting between the two rivals but also means that Chelsea have to tentatively peer over their shoulders.

Kick-off in the north London derby is at 19:45 BST.

The team news is nice and simple from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as there is just one change across the two sides, and it’s an enforced one at that.

Davinson Sanchez comes into the starting XI for the hosts as the injured Cristian Romero misses out.

“In the game against Liverpool he received a hit on his hip. After the game he had pain and is not right to recover.” – Antonio Conte on Cristian Romero

The fact that Arsenal are unchanged means that Bukayo Saka, absent from training ground images on Wednesday and listed as a doubt by his manager, is fit enough to start.

Ben White has also shaken off a hamstring injury but is only on the bench.

Saka is the most-owned player in this fixture, both overall and within the top 10k.

A closer look at the leading 10,000 managers above (via LiveFPL) shows that interest extends beyond the Arsenal winger, with Son Heung-min and Eddie Nketiah both sitting in more than 50% of these teams.

Little more than 2% of Gameweek 36 captains are still to play in this fixture, however.

GAMEWEEK 36 LINE-UPS

Tottenham Hotspur XI: Lloris, Sanchez, Dier, Davies, Emerson, Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Sessegnon, Kulusevski, Son, Kane.

Subs: Winks, Rodon, Gollini, Bergwijn, Lucas Moura, White, Scarlett, Devine, Craig.

Arsenal XI: Ramsdale, Cedric, Holding, Gabriel, Tomiyasu, Elneny, Xhaka, Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli, Nketiah.

Subs: Leno, White, Lacazette, Smith Rowe, Pepe, Tavares, Sambi Lokonga, Swanson, Patino.

As an Arsenal fan, We`ll never get 4th after this defeat, especially with Spurs having Burnley and Norwich to play.

Tierney have noe decided title race and got Spurs back in for fourth place by his refereeing which is the worst i have seen. Forget Dean, Atkinson, etc. They do mistakes but they at least understand the game. Tierney is absolutely clueless. Players get frustrated by him and his lack of understanding of the game.
I was looking forward to a great NLD and he just ruins it.

    Four burning questions:

    A) Best city player on FH37?
    B) Best pool player on FH37 not named Salah?
    C) Is Vardy a good choice?
    D) Reece James or and extra doubling defender?

      B. Looking like Diaz/Robbo.
      C. Good definitely, but wary about minutes management given availability of other strikers.
      D. See how FA cup final plays out first.

Looks like I'll get 153 with a hit. Could have been 200 -4 if I had financed getting in Pickford a different way.

    Pickford in for Guaita
    Tavares in for Schar
    Bernardo in for Mount

    should have been

    Pickford in for Guaita
    Holgate in for Schar
    KDB in for Salah

Sorry, I've Google'd this and I'm still confused.

"If any of your outfield players don't play in the Gameweek, they will be substituted by the highest priority outfield substitute who played in the Gameweek and doesn't break the formation rules (eg. If your starting team has 3 defenders, a defender can only be replaced by another defender)."

What are the real life implications given we might see lots of rotation?

If you line up 3-4-3 and three of your defenders don't play a single minute, and a starting midfielder doesn't play too, will your fifth mid come into your team or not?

Is it any safer to line up 4-4-2? Or would you still be out of luck?

          • 4 Years

Yup. All outfield subs will come one for 3 of the non-playing players (provided the subs played), leaving one non-playing defender to comply with formation rules.

I've got Taa - Cancelo - Matip - Laporte - Cash. Should be OK, but just had the thought with Laporte looking knackered and Liv likely concentrating on CL final.

Doesn't work like that. Rethink for a moment. If 3 defs won't play, you are down to 10 men anyway.

    3. Deulofail
      • 10 Years
      4 years, 2 months ago

Forget about formation. Autosubs will take places in your XI if they exist. In your scenario, a midfielder would come in even if he's your third sub, because the first two subs have been used already, and there's a space for him in your XI.

      1. Deulofail
        • 10 Years
        4 years, 2 months ago

And as Baps Hunter says, you would be down to 10 men (2 defenders getting a score instead of the minimum of 3 (assuming you do have 2 playing defenders on the bench))

        1. One More Hit
          • 7 Years
          4 years, 2 months ago

That's fine, I thought I'd seen complaints before but perhaps that was bench order rather than number of players coming in.

The scenario I thought I read, was that if you were set up 3-4-3, and three defenders and a mid don't play, you're forced into 2-3-3, rather than 2-4-3. From your explanations, it sounds like you would still get 2-4-3, and the bench order wouldn't matter.

Not worried about being down to 10 if you've lost three defenders anyway, but didn't want to risk replacement midfielders not getting on the pitch.

            • 10 Years
            4 years, 2 months ago

Yup "2"-4-3. Your subs are raring to go, ready and waiting to jump into your team if they can

Going for FH37 and torn between these 2 options. Which one will you go for?

    1) Cash + Mykolenko + Diaz + Richarlison
    2) Digne + Andersen + Gordon + Kane

    The remaining 8:
    Pickford
    Robertson ____ ____
    Salah KDB Son Zaha ____
