Reckon I'm only one who stuck with Bernardo up til now, but left him 2nd on bench behind Neco Williams' 1pt. It's a cruel game sometimes...

Yes, it is very cruel sometimes...I have 27 points in my first two bench spots, Harrison and St. Maximum, as I didn't fancy their chances against MC and Chel Def.

Haaland has so much potential, if he plays 3100 mins + this year he genuinely should get 300 points

obviously that won't happen sadly, if you keep just hope City get given an easy CL group for the time being, WC rest is big as well

With 3 in 3, he's on course to get 38, technically!

        2. F4L
          • 11 Years

if he played the equivalent of 33-34 full matches, yes why not; he's getting a ridiculous amount of chances and on top of that he's always been a good finisher so outdoes his xG

          assists will be there too

maybe 300 is a bit far , but at least 270-ish

If he stays fit, even with rotation, I think there's a good chance he finishes as the highest scorer in FPL this season.

if Tuchel can finally realise that James needs to be playing as an attacker (second most goal involvement after Mount) then Cucurella will most likely be LCB next week with Chilwell back in at LWB

still cucurella will be a decent option, he really should nail down that LCB spot as Tuchel might have just decided Azpi is past it, unless of course Fofana comes in and then its all up in the air

    Haaland 3 games in
    What's everyone's thoughts ?
    My opinion
    Ticking along nicely but
Until he shows he can haul (2 or 3 goals or assists in a game ) not as yet in my opinion captain material
Okay did it v WH but one was a penalty
Seems to spend a lot of time creating space for other City players
Plenty of other performing forwards most cheaper (Toney , Mitro ,Jesus etc) plus Kane .
I'd like to transfer him out & spend the funds elsewhere but worried by ownership levels

    1. Ze_Austin
      • 7 Years

Who do you want to spend funds on? Expensive assets are being matched/beaten by cheaper assets in every position atm, as the season is still young and trends are still forming

A premium who's ticking over is good enough for me, for now

Once Foden remembers to pass to him, his goal tally will improve.

That save from Pope to deny him the second was unreal.

      And he fluffed the 1 v 1.

He's currently maintaining his goal-a-game record - he's not even playing well yet, is in a new club/league/country, and his understanding with teammates is still developing.

      Scary.

      1. 3 Lion Pride
        • 3 Years
        3 years, 6 months ago

Yes, Foden needs to remember to pass to him...he has missed him a number of times. Even if he doesn't see him, he needs to cross it in, as Haaland is often in the right place, just waiting for it. When Foden realizes this or when Pep instructs him on this, watch Haaland's goal tally and Foden's assist totals sky rocket

    5. Swahealy
      • 4 Years
      3 years, 6 months ago

Pope was gr8 today as usual, otherwise Hauland would've hauled

    6. diesel001
      • 9 Years
      3 years, 6 months ago

He is going to put some teams away. Guy has haul potential written all over him.

Most likely against some of the better teams (Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal, Liverpool) at home and the mid-ranking teams away from home (Newcastle, Villa, Palace, Wolves).

He needs space and he won't get that at home to the lower ranking teams who will defend deep.

But I think KDB is being overlooked. Can see him breaking the assist record in the PL. Haaland is creating issues for opposition CBs, which is giving Man City midfielders opportunities to break free. KDB will have opportunities to find them with his passing.

KDH -I benched Andreas for you. First and only week you will ever be in my team.

LEI keepers getting shipped now on WC along with Robbo.

46 behind after in my ML after 3 weeks with no hits, a GW rank of 8.9m and 4.8m overall is ridulous with the team I started with.

Do you think the game is going to be called off ? I hope not with TAA, Robbo and Salah (c) to come.

If it's called off and you have Liverpool players starting, your subs will come in

but if it called off your bench players would have come on for your Pool players anyway.

But if it’s not called off that’s points on the bench? If it is called off your bench gets counted anyway? Good score btw

I mean why? If it was because of the postponement, why not leave them on the pitch anyway?

Unless you don't fancy them to do well?

    Salah Saka Martinelli Andreas DaSilva
    Haaland Jesus Archer

Save transfer? My team on paper at least has good fixtures next GW.

If Diaz goes mental tomorrow might get him in for Saka

400k to 1.7m 😀 Diaz and Salah C masterclass tomorrow needed.

On top of that I am probably going to do kneejerk moves. How can you hesitate Gundog when he looks so good.

Chelsea should buy Ivan Toney and drop Havertz to the bench. Havertz is too similar to Sterling in that he gets caught offside, his creative passing is poor and he is a bad finisher. Also the use of James at RCB needs to stop.

Mount can be the passing playmaker, Sterling the running playmaker and Toney the finisher.

If the Utd/Pool game is called off what points will you be getting from your bench/VC

Just 13 points here instead of TAA, Robbo, Salah (c) scores, which seems light with others having the likely of Andreas, Bailey, Tripper, Reed on their bench, and higher scoring VC's than Jesus.
