    With that news of Pep re Haaland, I am already busy working on the players
    to come in via FT when we get there.

    There is no way you can cap a player in this situation so not worth it.

    It is also becoming clear that a striker will not work in Pep's system i.e Gabriel Jesus which he shipped off and now showing his worth at Arsenal.

    Aguero is a different story as he is your Suarez, Salah etc type of player which can play anywhere in attack.

    But once Darwin is back, I will start pulling the triggers.

    I have already set up to switch between 343 and 433 so front 3 without Haaland should be manageable with no shows.

    I honestly not going to go through frustration of him ending up on my bench or getting 2nd half cameos.

          If he is playing a striker in his system it’s his system and it includes a striker. To reiterate its his system and it has a striker in it. I’m not sure how much more you can overthink it, it’s not something that has been imposed on him and also Haaaland is scoring goals.

          I wouldn’t do all 3. Neto can wait- Wolves are getting lots of shots in, he might come good. I’ve been trying to avoid hits and Digne could also wait a week but a well considered hit early in the season can work well and I’d be tempted by the -4

      Dint really notice him all game. Was disappointed he did not take the pen and was on no set pieces. Fantastic assist though. Should tick along nicely as long as brighton continue their form and good fixtures . Will obviously keep him for this week but am already eyeing aaronson incase I have 2 fts in gw5 and nothing to do with them. Will gladly hold till gw8 if other fires pop up though

      Similar start myself, stuck at 6.9m. Every 50/50 has gone the wrong way and i have been punished severely! Keep at it mate, the season is still young and you can turn it around. Keep trying to make sensible decisions and it will come right.

    How are those with double up on defences feeling and are you looking to diversify your assets?

    Double city had been going well, but now that some mids are coming out the threat of even a fluke goal costing you 8 points and potential bonus just seems too risky for me. Was a big factor as well as frustration in my decision to sell Robbo.

        Fair, to be honest I've never liked the double up in any season so it's not just a knee jerk reactions

        Guess it's one of those that's great when it works and terrible when it doesn't.

          City had an over 50% clean sheets record last season (which means nearly 50% when they didn't). I'm expected even better this season. Liverpool should have a high CS record too although may take slightly longer to get going due to midfield injuries.

            Thinking about it more, I feel like if you do then you have to commit and show patience with it to allow the unexpected blips to smooth out when the steady stream of CSs happen.

              Right. Might get you knocked out of LMS, but overall you should score more highly than with a more diverse defence.

      Been happy with Cancelo + Walker from GW1. Walker incredible value so would be unwise to ditch him unless he starts getting rotated, in which case it's an easy swap to another 5 or 4.5 defender.
      Cancelo needs to keep up the attacking output from last season to justify his price tag

        I get that, but the question was more would you rather have 5m Walker/Cucu etc. from 5 different teams rather than doubling up. I have 5 atb just now with 6 different teams covered with those and my keeper.

      I still think 6m or 7m for robbo is value compared to mids or attackers in that price bracket.
