FPL Gameweeks 4-6 rotation risk: How much rest does each team get?

The first midweek round of Premier League fixtures is drawing ever closer and for Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers, so is the spectre of rotation.

It’s been a relatively serene affair so far in 2022/23, with all bar UEFA Europa Conference League entrants West Ham United enjoying ample recovery time in between their league matches. As a result, starting XIs have been relatively settled.

The real unpredictable business starts after Gameweek 4, however, with two more Gameweeks following in quick succession.

Beyond that, the six or seven English sides involved in European club competition will play twice a week, every week – with the exception of the late-September international break – up until the Premier League halts for the World Cup.

There’ll be plenty of coverage on packed schedules and rotation risks on these pages over the coming days, weeks and months, then, and we’ll start with a look at turnaround times between the league fixtures in Gameweeks 4-6.

      I'm one of them. My thinking is Pool not looking like keeping CS and TAA is very expensive. Even if he hauls against Bou which he most likely will, I got get better value from that money on a striker for example as decent options in defense around the 5-6 price point as well

    Looking at the fixture swings wk 7/8.
    WH defense ticker is really strong.

    I hope that the injuries are sorted (bar Aguerd) and that Emerson has taken over as first choice wingback.

    Could by then have moved to a back 5 even.

    4.0 could be a great deal.

    And then post-WC with Zouma & Aguerd as a CB pair would be great too.

        Not sure. Replacing Cresswell was the single main wish of most West Ham fans before the window opened. Although the fact Emerson is massively underwhelming, and they've looked even worse everywhere else may work in his favour. Soucek, Zouma, Coufal, Bowen and Rice haven't even been championship quality

    Have 3 issues in my team:

    Ait-Nouri - poor fixtures - replace with Arsenal/Brighton defence/Perisic

    Bailey - poor fixtures/game time - replace with Rodrigo/Groß

    Mount - good fixtures but poor form - replace with Gundo/Diaz/Kulu

    Which would you fix first?

      I am concerned about his fixture myself yes, but after that fix’s look good and he helps free up and cash which I need to do so it’s basically a proactive move for me whilst not expecting loads this week. That said, as good as BRI have been LEE puts 3 past CHE so it’s not ridic to think they could score

    Must say I'm concerned about Robbo. Lots on the Liverpool forums think Tsimikas deserves a run and if that happens Robbo may come on for last 15-20 mins of games meaning a 1 point cameo. Very tempted to either bench (have decent bench) or sell for this reason. Obviously could be punished due to the "easy" fixture on paper but there is enough doubt in my mind of the 1 pointer and Tsimikas threat that I think he may need to go. Also seems to be getting taken off earlier which further reduces his appeal.

    I’m a bit stuck with this team. The only way to free up some funds is to sell Robbo and that doesn’t feel right. I can go Bailey > Da Silva too free up some money and see how Liverpools def is Vs Bournemouth.
