I planned Cancelo > Trent as my move this week. But, I can't sell Cancelo after tonight's game. He was still not involved in attacking play but he is an amazing player; and I don't sell nailed amazing players. How do I buy Trent? Or shall I forget Trent for now and bring back James?

Captaining Haaland and wanting Salah to blank to justify the 'correct' captain choice and 'punish' Salah captainers is peak FPL logical fallacy (which I'm guilty of myself, but it's hard to shake).

Reality is, at my rank, Haaland with EO of ~160% and Salah at ~86% means in theory I should want them both to score as many points as possible because with every point scored by either I gain OR. Even if Salah scored more points than Haaland, I would STILL gain OR, despite the 'wrong' captain choice (just that I would have gained more OR if I had captained Salah). Also means I should have been celebrating that second assist, but here I was cursing it.

If you had up to 10.5 M to spend on any midfielder, who would be the top 3 that you put in your team, even if they cost half of that?

Unsure what to do with Salah now. Still not convinced by Liverpool by any means, they've looked very poor in all of the games I've seen them against any semi-competent team and are losing the midfield battle which is hampering both attackers and defenders. I felt even against Bournemouth I couldn't captain Salah given the way they've been, that ended up being lucky but I still don't feel like I can back him with captaincy against Everton or Wolves as I can see both of those team's midfielders coming out on top. Yet still, he keeps picking up points. Do I just hold and not captain or do I move to Sterling?

So ... who is the captain pick this weekend?
