The Scoreboard presents all the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) numbers you need from Saturday’s matches all on one screen.

As well as LiveFPL‘s rundown of the goals, assists and bonus points from the day’s FPL action, we’re bringing you a selection of the Opta stats that arrive in our Premium Members Area almost immediately after full-time in each fixture.

Ivan Toney (£7.1m) was the top-scoring player of the day with a Haaland-esque 17-point haul, while Aleksandar Mitrovic (£6.8m) and Harry Kane (£11.4m) made it six attacking returns in as many matches with goals in Tottenham Hotspur’s win over Fulham.

Erling Haaland (£11.9m) hit the 10-goal mark after scoring in Manchester City’s draw with Aston Villa, meanwhile.

Budget defender Neco Williams (£4.1m) also popped up with an assist in Nottingham Forest’s 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth, while Kieran Trippier (£5.1m) inched his way into second in the FPL defenders’ points table with another clean sheet.

They were rare success stories on a pretty grim day for well-owned FPL assets such as Mohamed Salah (£13.0m), Luis Diaz (£8.2m), Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.5m), Andrew Robertson (£6.8m), Marc Cucurella (£5.2m), Reece James (£6.0m), Ivan Perisic (£5.6m), Dejan Kulusevski (£8.2m), Joao Cancelo (£7.1m) and Son Heung-min (£11.7m), who all blanked.

Our usual Scout Notes article, which summarises more of the main FPL talking points, notable manager quotes and injury news in extraa detail, will follow.

Another huge gameweek with 58 points, Jesus, Martinelli and Sanchez still to play. Feels so much better.

Could not watch the games tonight.
    -- How did James look?
-- Why is KDB dropping in price?
-- Any particular incidents / injuries with the popular FPL picks (popular = more than 10% owned)?

I watched the Chelsea match until Chilwell scored. Saw Mendy flagged just now.

James was ok, nothing memorable. Caused a scene with Antonio and both were booked. That is about that.

I am holding till Fulham though. Chilwell might come in for me if he starts GW7.

        Thanks. Very helpful.

I was planning to buy James. But Chelsea plays Liverpool on GW8. So, I think I should wait.

Sell or hold KDB and Cancelo?

Did you watch KDB vs Villa???
You’d be crazy to get rid of him. Cancelo I’m considering to sell though…

Not interested in any City assets other than Haaland and or Alvarez.

Cancelo not worth the layout at this moment. City are also prone to conceding goals now.

Clean sheets are hard to come by for any team by the looks of things.

Forwards get 24bps for scoring a goal
Players who get an assist get 9bps in contrast
KDB also had a big chance missed from memory

Saka is playing tomorrow. See how he does. Diaz the only 8.0 mid worth going for at the moment.

There is also Kulusevski but he was on the bench for Spurs today. Could have been rested for CL week. He has been ok but not firing like last season yet.

I feel like that is the exact type of game KDB excels in and he will be guaranteed to start due to the fixture. If you’re not feeling it wait a week and make the move after 🙂

Probably Sterling as he’s quite a bit more expensive and is not justifying it. Klopp confirmed Thiago is back in training on Monday which should mean a much more functional Liverpool team once he’s starting again.

Do you think Newcastle can keep CS against West Ham next week?

I have 2 fts, but I am not sure if I should use one for Raya to Pope.

I have other players which I planned to get in as well such as Toney/Mitrovic and Maddison. Should I just ignore Toney for next gw and wait for Mitro against Forrest and get Pope and Maddison now?

    The team is:

    Raya
    TAA Cancelo Saliba Webster
    KDB Martinelli Diaz Gross
    Haaland Jesus

    Pereira Neco Dervisoglu

Raya > Pope is a good move regardless of the fixture.

Interesting re. Maddison. What’s your thinking behind that? I’m avoiding all Leicester assets until Rodgers is sacked and they get a new manager in. They look hopeless.

I know, Pope will be the best keeper option, but not sure if I should wait for one more week for that. That price rise is tempting to get him now tho.

Well, Maddison is the main man now there, on set pieces, attacking. They have great fixtures and I wanted to use it before everyone else. If they score, and they will (they didn't forget how to play), it's highely likely he will be involved.

Maddison is a great player no doubt, would just like to see some signs of life from Leicester before investing is all.

Made a similar comment on another post above but Thiago is back in training on Monday. Liverpool a completely different animal when he plays (Diaz better chance of points).

From those options I like Sinisterra or Zaha best.

Too late to get Toney now?

Mitro's great run of fixtures start after next gw, so should I just wait for one more week and then get Mitrovic alongside Haaland and Jesus?

Just go straight to Mitrovic IMO - he can score against anyone - he's averaging 1 goal every single game

Chelsea not exactly looking solid defensively. Early kick off at home too, can see him scoring.

Fair enough. Might use the 2 ft to get him and Maddison and Diaz and Dervisoglu.

Rage trading complete, KDB/Robbo > Sterling/Trippier. Feel better now. Rage trading solves all problems and is a key characteristic of superior management technique.

Is there another midfielder more important to his team’s chances of success than Thiago Alcantara at the moment?

It doesn’t help his alternatives are complete crap but Liverpool’s record with him and Fabinho starting / not starting together is alarming.

Am I the only one who doesn't rate Thiago?

Never amazed me, he too often fails at the simplest passes and people consider him for some creative player. He's quite useless in attack and does nothing special in defence.

Agreed. For me doesn't suit the Premier League. Grand lad in a team with plenty of possession time and space and not getting kicked and he has no pace. He's no Paul Scholes.

Yous all lying to each other? Bowen is nowhere near the top five midfield picks. Talkin up picking him but no chance you will. He's a bum, from Bumtown.

You could say Rodrigo or Gross are not top 5 midfield picks also. FPL is about identifying the right player at the right time and there is a clear opportunity with Bowen from game week 8.

I’m not sure why you have to be offensive in regard to Bowen or accuse people of lying to each other. That seems totally unnecessary.

Name checked... Biased.. lol. Nunez average for me but maybe for u he is Messi or Lewangoalski.

Its not one chance. Nunez get two shot on target. Like usual, he get more chances that Salah. To be exact have 6 shots, 5 In the box. Most dangerous but he is not clinical enough. First touch awful.

Still good if u ready to splash almost 9 million for someone who can be beaten by Mitrovic under 7 millions.
