Gameweek 8 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) continues on a quieter-than-usual Saturday afternoon, starting with Wolverhampton Wanderers v Manchester City at 12:30 BST.

Pep Guardiola has made three changes to the City side that beat Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League in midweek.

Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden and Ruben Dias are recalled, with Riyad Mahrez, Ilkay Gundogan and Nathan Ake making way.

Kyle Walker is on the bench after recovering from a minor injury.

City have played three times since Wolves were last in action a fortnight ago.

Bruno Lage oversaw a 1-0 win over Southampton in the hosts’ last match so changes are unsurprisingly kept to a minimum here.

Goncalo Guedes comes in for the injured Sasa Kalajdzic in the one and only enforced alteration.

Former Chelsea striker Diego Costa, signed on a free transfer over the last fortnight, is deemed not match fit enough to be involved today.

GAMEWEEK 8 LINE-UPS

Wolves XI: Sa, Jonny, Collins, Kilman, Ait-Nouri, Nunes, Neves, Moutinho, Neto, Podence.

Subs: B. Traore, Hwang, Sarkic, Mosquera, Semedo, Gomes, Ronan, Bueno, Campbell

Manchester City XI: Ederson, Stones, Akanji, Dias, Cancelo, De Bruyne, Rodri, Foden, Silva, Grealish, Haaland.

Subs: Ortega Moreno, Carson, Walker, Ake, Gundogan, Alvarez, Gomez, Mahrez, Palmer

This guy is breaking the league whilst he's hardly played a dozen games. Imagine what this guy will become once he's more settled into the league.

I put a bizarre bet on with a mate at the beginning of the season and he gave me good odds. I bet him that Haaland would score 41 or more goals in the premier league.
How do you rate my chances?

Not that high actually. There are a lot of games and Pep will rotate. To get 41 goals he'd have to start 35 league games minimum I'd imagine and the more time teams have to analyze Haaland in this City system, the more time they'll have to figure out a way to stop him. He'll have a lean spell at some point and I think he'll get 30 goals easily. 41 is a lot.

Still side to no, given he has to continue scoring at this rate to get say 44 goals over 35 games.

You'd assume he get's rested for the odd few matches.

Then you have injuries to worry about.

Not impossible and crazy if he does hit than number but he has to continue like this all season.

Ah so he needs 19 more in the next 31 games.

        1. Mozumbus

There will be matches where he'd blank plus where he'd be rested and there's always a chance of injury.
So 30 is a pretty decent target for now. He can cross the early and build a few more on that.

Also depends how many goals he gets pre & post WC break.
I can see him ending this year with more goals than games played.
But will he be able to continue after the WC break.

It was a right footed shot from outside the box...

He's already equalled Van Nistelrooy's tally of goals from outside the box and with his weak foot no less.

Surprised by how many have KDB. He hasn't exactly set the world alight so far, is in the same team as Haaland (so seldom a captaincy option), and is really expensive. Obviously a good pick overall, but still, everyone seems to have him

You need to take into account he's a placeholder for Salah who hasn't a game.

If Salah was playing, or Sterling was playing, or Son was in form, KDB ownership would be lower.

      Flexibility key.
