A might have a price drop in a couple of gw's he currently on -76. If that did happen at 4.3 he would seem a bargain

“He hasn’t trained for 10 days, he had some discomfort. He only had one training session & he comes in & competes the way he does. As well, the ugly part of the game people won’t recognise too much, he deserves some credit.”

Saliba owners don't even realise how lucky they were. If this game was played one day ago, you're getting 0 and not 15 points.

Class defender. Can see why we signed him for big money and persisted through two loan spells. Starting to come on his own now.

With hindsight, it was unbelievable management from the club right from the start and exactly what a young player needed. He learn a lot on these loans and returned back home ready to be a starter for us. I love his story.

But this performance speaks volumes about a player he is. Man pocketed Toney and Mbeumo while being half fit. An absolute beast in the making and we're so blessed to have him.

Very good team, not much to tinker with, especially after Rashford heals up.

Probably want to improve bench...upgrade Ward or Emerson (not nailed as starter). Look at Sanchez upcoming schedule and find someone that pairs well with his difficult games.

Perhaps. with 2.9 itb maybe upgrade Gross to someone like Zaha.

Two players being shifted on the WC were Jesus and White. Not quite sure about Jesus now, and as a result, not entirely sure about the WC as well. Will probably take some time to think it through.

Think Martinelli will actually do better in the tough fixtures where he'll find space behind the backline to run into.

Fair enough. People say that every season about various players, but the fact is that the fixtures are tougher and they're less likely to get goal involvements, and certainly less likely to get an absolute haul. I'm probably selling Martinelli for a hit as Maddison and ASM seem more likely to get big scores in their easier fixtures, and they don't blank in GW12

Just ‘trying’ to watch Chelsea vs Liverpool WSL, they were asking to use the mens stadium for parity.
Looking at this there would be more staff attending than crowd, they would be lucky to fill the first row or two around a Prem stadium 🙁
The football on show is dire!

Not sure why they didn’t just give out free tickets for this to fill the stadium. It’s on about 4 sky channels so they’re clearly trying their hardest to push it.

Can anybody tell me if there was what the bookies would consider a ‘shot on target’ from Bowen in the last ten minutes, I cashed out on a bet and couldn’t bear to watch the end!!

Bowen had one of those cross-shots that Begovic tipped behind for a corner in injury time. Not sure if it's counted though sorry.

    Thoughts on this WC team:

    Pope
    TAA | Cancelo | James | Trippier
    Son | Zaha | Martinelli
    Haaland | Mitrovic | Toney

    Ward | Perisic | Andreas | Dasilva

    1. La Roja
      • 14 Years
      3 years, 5 months ago

Sorry but I don’t like it at all. I’d get rid of Trent and upgrade Dasilva

Also, heavy investment at the back, Perisic benched even

And I’d consider Isak instead of Toney

      1. Reckoner.
        • 14 Years

No worries, appreciate the feedback. I'm struggling with going with 0 Liverpool and feel like Trent is the safest cover but maybe I need to be braver.

Contemplating Sinistera in for Martinelli also but a lot of value tied up in Martinelli, may struggle to get in again if I got rid now.

Couple of swaps and it's beautiful ie
      1. Perisic to Patterson (benched anyway)
      2. One of TAA/Cancelo to Dalot/Anderson so you free up cash for Da Silva to an 8 mid
      3. If taking Cancelo out then maybe get kdb in for son(and swap him out for Salah in GW 12)

I'm personally looking at getting TAA back this week. Everyone tends to forget certain players during periods of poor form and Liverpool are currently the ones everyone is ignoring and getting them in could prove fruitful

    3. diabydoesgallas

Zaha (CHE), Martinelli (TOT), Maddison (NFO)
Kane (ars), Haaland (MUN), Mitro (NEW)

Bench: Andreas (NEW), Neco (lei), Gross (liv)

GTG for GW9? Probably rolling a transfer.

Not too keen on the midfield, and lacks City a bit

Not bad although I’d prefer having Kane as a second premium.

I WC’d last week and brought Coufal in (to be used occasionally - I’m rotating my third defender based on fixture like it’s 2014) and I’m not sure a West Ham defender is worth it. I’d rather go for someone from Wolves or Palace.

    Thoughts on Groß to Diaz?

Fancy Liverpool Vs Brighton, although they might have a nice manager bounce if they appoint someone shortly!

I really want to explore getting Salah back for a -4 this week. There are very small margins and Salah being low owned among engaged managers presents a nice opportunity this week and especially if you captain him.

But I really can't find a way to save 0.7m from this team...

    Pope Ward
    Cancelo James Trippier Patterson Neco
    KdB Zaha Martinelli Almiron Andreas
    Haaland Kane Mitrovic

    What would you do?

Martinelli > Gordon/Fornals seems the most reasonable but it's not the best for value.
James > Cucurella - meh downgrade
Cancelo > Dias/Cucurella - seems an even worse downgrade
Almiron > Colback - means I'm stuck playing Pereira basically every week

If Pope goes up again in price or Salah falls I could maybe do that. But 0.1m short atm.

I think Liverpool will come roaring back into form since they have their players back.

Maybe I'm wrong but really think it presents a nice opportunity. Plus that KdB > Salah move is gonna happen in GW12 anyway so making it earlier can be a good thing.

The problem with this line that I didn't mention is that I will probably need that slot to be someone that plays because of the blank in GW12
