    Seriously why do fpl care about leaks? It should be part of the game, if you aren’t as devoted as others who are willing to check for leaks & share then don’t complain.

    Other fantasy football games I know, lock in squads after the first match kicks off, so managers get to see the line ups of the first game of the the game week at least.

      I think if he plays the 90 it'll make selling him easier. I'll still be nervy when the team sheets (or earlier leaks) come out but not chancing the FPL servers holding in order to make my moves

    Anyone looking to bench boost?

    Think it has it upsides myself, will give better 11 from week 17 , and just kill the bench with 2 fodder spots (4.2mil stiker, mid)

    Also have very decent options from my bench : Andreas (pens with mitro out)
    Bailey playing as a 2nd stiker , Ward, Doherty (Expect him to start home to leeds)

        Havent looked at 17 option, id imagine a number of normal players you may want longterm could be missing due to WC effects

      Yeah BB while Bailey in form and Andreas on penalties. From GW17 onward it frees you up to have an enabler or two and pick your strongest starting eleven.

            If you're going to comment purely to make a sarky comment, I'd rather you not waste your time. Just asking an opinion on the transfer mate.

            It looked like Haaland might miss out, and a large majority of the game had him capatianed. I punted on KDB (C) and Wilson to chance a big captaincy jump, and it didn't work amazingly. That's all there is to it.

              I genuiely did not understand what made you think he was more injured since there was no info that was the case since he was back in training and would be a big problem for you this week coming

              Fine getting KDB , just i think going down that route you need to factor in week 16 also and if its a -4 week 15 and a -4 week 16 to get him back its just asking for trouble

                No worries. Just get a lot of people post for that reason.

                I'm aware of that. I'm also aware that Haaland getting 5 points this week was equivalent to a 140k rank drop.

                A -4 is equivalent to ~55k or so for me. So it's weighing up a hit vs Haaland getting 5 points etc. Even with 2x -4s it's less harm than Haaland getting 5 points.

                Just sharing the numbers behind the call.

    I have 3.4 m in bank but only 1 free transfer. Mitrovic an injury risk and Alvarez probably comes off bench if Haaland starts. Not seeing an easy solution if want Haaland. Would you consider-8 if Mitrovic not fit. for Alvarez Mitrovic KDB to Haaland Darwin Almiron ( or Trossard)?

                You want longterm players who get in the best positions and have the best longterm predictors of points - thats xGi and has been shown to be so for millions of games

                You play the same games back again and he would have 10 -15 points more

                    I want players who put the ball in the net or are playing with very good players who can be passed to who'll then put the ball in the net. Bowen offers none of this.

                      Bowen has historical done this - see his 200 + points last year

                      And his indicators xGi indicate he will do so again in future

                      Its week 16 and any move to move Bowen for anyone who isnt called Salah is a poor move.

                      I said the same to people this week with Zaha who were certain Trossard just had to be bought.

                      Glad to come back to this convo later. I mean im certain to be correct since every single football metric that is known to be of any use is basically xGi - every single decent football club is just using this now for all recruitment and data analysis. So yes picking players based on who recently put the ball in the next is not the whole story - see Almiron over the next say 10 weeks as a predictor.

                      You get 38 FT's a year. Selling Bowen to Maddison cos Maddison just scored is the definition of a waste of a move - All of Bowen predictors are better than Maddisons indicating we would expect all things staying the same for Bowen to outscore Maddison in the next say 10 weeks.
