KULUSEVSKI IN?

Tottenham Hotspur were able to welcome Dejan Kulusevski (£8.0m) back into the fold against Liverpool on Sunday, having missed six Gameweeks because of a hamstring injury. Without him, Spurs were good in spells, yet often looked unimaginative in the final-third.

Kulusevski was only fit enough to make the bench against Liverpool, which meant Antonio Conte had to start Ivan Perisic (£5.5m) alongside Harry Kane (£11.6m) up front. However, he emerged from the bench in the second-half, setting up Kane’s goal within a couple of minutes of coming on. His introduction handed Tottenham the initiative and I was really impressed by his impact. Had he been fit enough to start; my feeling is that Spurs probably would have got something from the game.

“It was good to see Deki back, yes, finally. It was important, good news. Deki only had a full training session with us yesterday. Today, he said to me, ‘okay, coach, for the last 20, 30 minutes, I’m available” – Antonio Conte

With Kulusevski in the starting XI, Spurs play much better, which is backed up by his record since joining from Juventus: since his first Premier League start in Gameweek 26 of 2021/22, he has scored six goals and provided 13 assists in 20 starts, which has included five double-digit hauls.

Now, Gameweek 16 opponents Leeds United don’t tend to concede a lot of crosses, but if Kulusevski is deployed alongside Kane in a 3-5-2 formation, where he can float and pick up possession in the half-space, he could find some joy. That’s because under Jesse Marsch this season, Leeds have allowed quite a few chances to be created from the centre zone:

    Draft league:

Would you hold on to Auba and hope he will come good after the WC break or get someone like DCL or Watkins?

man with all of their billions, you'd think Fifa could design a better WC fantasy football site, that one now is awful to use as you can't even see the fixtures on the same page when changing your team, the FPL site for all of the complaints about servers crashing is still miles ahead of every other Fantasy football site with its simple and easy to use design, also shout out to Sky who's site is getting better every year, their WC Fantasy game makes the official Fifa one easier as you can set your matchday captains on it thus making it easier to see the best way to spread your funds for the Fifa one

It's free though 😉 How do you think FIFA have so much cash, won't spend a bob on a FF site that'll cost them money.

Is there any difference between mobile browser, desktop or app?

Hojbjerg worth a look. Midfield points can suit him for that price.

So after whinging about the site crash and claiming that i was done with fantasy, it ended up working out for me......Planned moves were:

    Mitro(0) + Zaha(12) > Wilson(1) + Rashford(2)

I then got Justin(7) off the bench for Mitro

Up a total of 16 points haha

Salah, Foden and Toney out for KDB(c), Rashford and Wilson for a -4 were my moves that didn’t go through because of the servers overloading. Ended up with Haaland (c) with Bailey and Patterson coming off the bench. Net gain 16 points, pure jam. Just wish I’d played Ward over Pope again!

    Darwin Nunez

He is at 8% conversion on Shots. Does this mean...

    (a) He is due to start scoring, especially versus Southampton

    (b) He is Fernando Torres, the non-scoring forward

    (c) Why are we talking about this guy?

Calling fernando Torres the non scoring forward is odd. 65 in 102 for Liverpool.

You are correct, shows I am not LFC fan. I mostly remember him as a Chelsea and Spain forward. That I rarely saw score

I'm not a Chelsea fan either.

Some unkindly refer to him as the Uruguayan Heskey. He seems to find new and interesting ways to not score, a bit like Timo Werner.

His coversion rate will probably remain quite low just because he loves to shoot at any opportunity. Not the most clinical, but certainly no Torres/Jesus either. Even though he still looks kind of raw at times and does make mistakes, I still think he's a good FPL pick for his instinctive, killer movement off the ball and selfish drive for goals, and he'll only get better as he gels with the rest of the team

Liverpool struggle a bit as a team, both Dias and Jota out is really bad and the front three as it is is not used to play much.
People clearly not watching Darwin in Benfica on CL, and when Liverpool attack and midfield clicks, Darwin will probably match Kane and Haaland for output, at least if you take away the 3 million price diff.
He is not elegant, but he is efficient a bit like Suarez, just one way forward, and when they gel together and confidence grow this conversation will be looking pretty odd.

Watch his games and highlights and judge for yourself. Not exactly a PL Forlan but a long way to go to PL Suarez.

    Pope
    Cancelo Trippier Perisic Guehi
    Salah Foden Zaha Martinelli
    Haaland Wilson

    Iversen Mitrovic Andreas Neco
    1ft 0.1m

Don’t think mitrovic plays again before the World Cup.

    A) foden to Saka (if foden plays tonight)
    B) mitrovic to Solanke (bench guehi)
    C) pope to ramsdale (removes double Newcastle)

Looking forward to getting this week out the way and resetting my team.

He only needs to score 48pts next gw to make up for the blanks.

He's a great watch, the Paraguayan hitman, playing with a smile on his face. Good coaching, confidence building, definitely sustainable, can maybe even increase his output. For a player that came from MLS, bereft of confidence in front of goal, to absolute impudence at goaltime. It defies logic but this is football not an AND gate. Form could well be unsustainable, if it is sell him. But sure if we look only on the downside we'd never make transfers.

    1FT, 1.7 ITB, thoughts?

    Pope, Iversen
Cancelo, Trippier, Kilman, Webster, N. Williams
    Salah, Foden, Saka, Martinelli, Andreas
    Haaland, Wilson, Solanke

If Foden plays a full game mid-week, then transfer him out for Kulu, Zaha, Maddison, Trossard or Almiron.

Transfer Foden out no matter what happens.

Hi guys, I have a few doubts for this gw. Any suggestions maybe?

    Pope
    Trippier-Cancelo-White
    Martinelli-De Bryune-Almiron
    Haaland(c)-Kane-Solanke

    Ward-Perisic-Bailey-Andreas-Neco
    1FT 1.7m

    A Pope -> Alisson
    B De Bruyne -> Salah
    C Neco -> Gabriel

If A or B then who to put out of these three: Perisic-Bailey-Andreas?

I'd probably stick with what you've got then, looks good. Could maybe play Castange over Guehi due to higher attacking threat and still good chance of clean sheet.

If after team news it looks like Foden won't start again, is Foden and Wilson to Rashford and Darwin for a hit a good move?
